He just isn't the size of a Big Dave so people doubt him but he's looked pretty solid in the games I've seen him play.

Pauli king backup as plenty versatility in both these players

I'd have Pauli ahead of Huby, if they are coming off the bench.Pauli strikes fear in the opposition and I dont think that Huby does, although he has a better off load game.

I see your point but equally if we start with Fifita we would also finish the game with him, so if we are behind going into the last 20 mins we get a massive boost.

Start with Dave and England/Kopzcak, replace with Huby and King/Kopczak. Bring Pauli into the back row.

In Dave and Kopzcak we have the luxury in that they both do quite big minutes for a prop and don`t seem to get any less effective at what they do.

Pauli Pauli picked up some really good form towards the back end of last season I thought he was our best forward, the game at Hudds sticks in my memory where they just couldn't physically bring him down - I hope he carries that into next season with him.

Just not sure if he will be playing prop or in the second row, i prefer him at Prop from what I have seen but Chester seems to want him in the second row.

Paulie is not and will never be a back row, his strength is not standing out wide and unfair to ask him to defend out wide. He has many strengths no of them enable him to be an effective back row player, many of them enable him to be a very effective prop.

You say he will never be a back row then maybe someone should tell Chris Chester, Nathan Brown and Brad Arthur that, I think he has done a good job for us at prop and would be happy for him to continue there but I have only seen him play 1 game for us in the second row, he played 80 minutes and got man of the match against Cas to say he will never make a second rower is wrong.

Wire fans have said on VT. He also played there coming off the bench when I saw him last year.

On second thought I’ll tell you - I don’t I thought he was a utility player but numerous posters on here and in the VT state he’s a prop.

Personally I’m none the wiser as it depends where you look - well have to wait and see I suppose.

When I've seen him play he plays prop.
When he has been shifted to back row he still pretty much plays the same position.
I have a friend who is a Warrington fan. He says he's a prop who can do a job if needed as a tackling second row.

We may decide to play him in the back row..... But his SL experience is prodomibently 'a middle defender'

Whatever Paulie is, the fact is he can play in the second row and he can play prop, so really we're in a very strong position.

He also breaks tackles and scores vital tries - to suggest he isn't comfortable in either position is plain daft imho - we are damn lucky to have him.

Note: Could work a little on his tackling technique though.
