I would have Anderson over Scruton definately, but would rather have younger props in moving forward. I think Scuton is just uninterested and Anderson has had a bad run of injuries, and I think they are now just taking a toll on him.

At one point, Miller looked to be pushing him to go forward and take a drive, have never seen that before.

The experiment of playing without half backs seems to have misfired badly so we should assume that Hall & Moore will be the new partnership going forward.

I know they are a massive bogey team, especially at home, but with their injuries surely we must at least push them close. We now have 6 out of 8 at home, let's hope at least we can 2 or 3, just something to cling to as re. it being actually enjoyable going to home games! One win against SL opposition at home in over 14 months is pretty bad. If we only win one out of the next 8, I doubt we will win anymore than last season, which will be veryyyyy depressing.

Clearly you don't like Arundal but personally, in a team where the backs are not doing that great, he is probably the most effective

He has 2 tries and 2 assists. Only the half backs have more assists and only Howarth has more tries
He has completed more tackles than any other middle back. (Only the half backs have made more as they are targeted)
He has only made 3 errors and given away 1 penalty.....far less than any other of the backs who have played more than one game (Tupou has less)

He isn't a world beater, but he isn't where the problem is.

Whether we push them close or not is another matter, but as for their injuries Ellis, and Crabtree plus Wardlow banned who else is missing?

the likes of Huby, Grix are still missing, I thought I heard they lost a couple who came off against Catalans and would be doubtful too, but as I say haven't actually checked their squad out yet squire.

Grix & Smith would be in their 17 i would imagine if fit, plus obviously Grix's replacement Tansey is unavailable. Think a couple of their younger squad players are also out meaning there isn't much room for manoeuvre for them. I still believe they are there for the taking tomorrow, especially given it is Chesters first full week in control, new coach syndrome and all that. Whether we perform is another matter though.

Wardle is banned Ellis out Crabtree with alleged concussion probably, Brough taken off as a precaution last week but back, Huby also back Grix hasn't played all season and was not even considered when Anderson tried to sign young Hampshire at FB for the season and since then they've signed Brierley, they've got a couple of fringe players doubtful who probably would not play when everybody's fit but are good for gilding the lily with the sympathy vote, If I was a cynic squire, I'd say they were getting their excuses in early

Sorry I forgot about Daniel Smith, but if you stretch it a bit I could be forgiven for forgetting about him because there's been that many players they've nicked off us he went under the radar

We are being out muceled week in week out in the pack Anderson England and Scutton are average at best Yates & Walker are young with a lot to learn
Finn and Miller are not the best but to be fair they play behind a beaten pack every week
Huddersfield are a big physical side with good halfbacks in Brough and Brierley they have pace I can only see the annual massacre

we have not had a settled 17 so far this season and injuries have bitten badly and the team is in the mire.

when you dont have your first choice half backs in ellis/brough playing together and behind a depleted pack with no crabtree/smith and a diff full back every week your going to struggle!

If Yates and Walker are fit then to play only 2 props is absolute madness in my opinion

One thing I will say is their defence has obviously been a bit dodgy so far, which is unlike them, but i'm not sure we have the weapons to take advantage of this, attack as we all know has been pretty blunt so far.....
