There certainly wasn't a mass brawl, I've yet to talk to anyone at the game who saw anything!

We saw an extremely angry looking lady Saints fan (well actually as far removed from a lady as you could get) being frogmarched out. So angry it had turned her hair bright red !! Very scary looking indeed and I feel sorry for whoever may or may not have been on the receiving end if it was one of our fans !

There was something clearly happening under the far roof at the back in the Western terrace after the hooter. All the fans there had their back to the pitch and were watching something for quite a few minutes.

Mid way through the 2nd half we saw several stewards run hard from the North Stand to the food outlet near the roofed area to something happening.

I think if you have a 50/50 mixed in stand you're ok (Cas shared the NS "that day" but weren't mixed in, I'd say segregated) but a few to 40 odd congregating in a group amongst opposition fans and you'll get banter that goes too far or a stray pint that may cause friction - as seen in the Leeds game last year in the NS.

There was a minor altercation just being mopped up in the West Stand as we left the game; a female Saints fan was being calmed down by stewards and another one was having a chat with Kath Hetherington, so I assume that something had kicked off and it was being dealt with.

I'm not sure how true this is but apparently a tall man, wearing a baseball cap and carrying what looked like a picnic table parasol was seen behaving rather oddly in the north stand. There were various spectators who were clearly not happy when he attempted to open up the parasol even though at the time it was not raining.

I was too busy laughing at the inept steward who was attempting to remove all the spectators away from the little wall at the side of the pitch in the East stand paddock. I watched them all obey except one defiant gentleman who insisted he was not going anywhere. As soon as he disappeared they all moved back again. A futile gesture from a little Hitler. And believe it or not the wall was still standing at the end of the game. Remarkable.

Man with a packet of embassy number one ejected, he asked a steward for a light.

Fully agree. We have a couple of small groups who want to cause trouble at the drop of a hat. Segregation will not solve this with these types of people. They will fight amongst themselves and their own fans because that's there nature. We need rid of these hooligans. Every club has them and its just whether they rear there head and if any club is willing to do anything about them.

When you look at a problem you have to remove the problem. Is it that we have just decided after 60 years we cannot stand at the side of a rival fan? Or is that idiots spoil it for everybody else that can stand together? I pride myself on a ground where fans have traditionally swapped ends at halftime with no issues. Were there is a bear pit type atmosphere that is so close to the pitch you can feel it with the trials and tribulations throughout the game. Where you can watch a FAMILY SPORT without fear. I don't want a football type monkey bars type atmosphere.

The idiots are the problem just like away at Huddersfield when a couple of our own fans started throwing beer and doing the chest beating routine with one another just about to fight.

I ignore the trolls who want to imply we have a major problem because we don't. We have a small problem that is being looked at. In my experience in any walk of life the people who state that haven't got a violence, bullying etc problem usually do. Photos are being circulated internally to identify people and the club doesn't want these people at our games.

Lets work together to rid our game of these unwarranted fans!!!

They are probably not proper Wakefield or rugby fans. Possibly football hooligans.

I note that none appear to be wearing any team colours so whose to say they are Wakefield supporters. The fact that not one is, suggests they will probably not be seen again.

Thats exactly what i was thinking.

Myself as many Trins fans do,travel to all away games,including Catalans and obviously all home games and while on your travels see the same faces over and over again,but looking at the pictures I can honestly say I have never seen any of the alleged offenders at any games home or away.Could it be a case of first game full of ale syndrome.?just a thought.

And Trinity have gone to great lengths to say these people are helping but not necessarily guilty of anything.
Already some have called in and explained why they were photographed and Trinity have been happy with response.

It was only an observation plus with the exception of one of them their clothes appear to be similar in colour and style. I think you will find that by actually printing the photos suggests the club believed them to be more central to the problem rather than helping to find those that did. I guess you are closer to the inner workings of the club than I or many others are so you may have more up to date information than the rest of us.
I still think that you would expect at least expect one of them to be wearing something to show who they support.

Nope. No insider info.
But they said on the web site (or maybe the Facebook page) that they had taken some photos down because those people had volunarily approached the club and explained what had gone on, and the club said they were happy with their answers.

Don't get me wrong. I'll be the first to shop someone and kick them out if I know anyone is guilty, it's just dangerous to comment just on a photo when all they sau is that they want to identify them.
