I think Lee is a poor choice at half back although to be fair he is only playing there due to lack of options. Hopefully this signing will be an improvement.

Exactly, Lee may have qualities in certain areas but one thing is for sure he isn't a scrum half

So rather than support the lad you'd prefer to knock him. What do you want us to do play without a scrum half until we find one who you deem to be of sufficient quality

Moore is his own biggest fan. In fact, he's set up his own Gareth Moore Fan Club, and made himself the chairman.
Not so sure he'll cut the mustard as a SL player. Offers little apart from a decent kicking game, and some of the big lads in the top flight will literally walk through his defence.
One word of advice to John Kear - don't consider dropping him! After his reaction to not getting picked at Halifax and Batley, it'll no doubt be time to chuck the toys out of the pram again if you do!

We don't know whether he has got a attitude, but we defo need a SH.

this is a very poor signing if true Moore as nothing in is game which says he can play in Super League can kick goals but defensivley very poor and will not take the line on not even at Championship level.
Matty Wildie and Kieran Hyde are far better players what message is this going to give players these

If he's got attitude he'll get it knocked out of him sharpish, don't think he'll upset the changing rooms for very long.

From what i've seen of him and thats not much i'd not bother tbh, but if he gets a chance then fair enough.

I just hope he gets his chance at the No7 shirt on merit and not by default because IMO Wildie is doing enough to be given a go.

I have not seen much Academy of late so have not seen Wildie at 7. I'm led to believe his kicking game is weak? Maybe this is why Kear want another 7, I don't know just a guess.

I'm not against Moore being picked ahead of Wildie as long as he's a better player NOW, and as long as it doesn't prevent Wildie from potentially becoming a better player than Moore through lack of opportunities brought about by short term fixes.

Moores big strength is his kicking game, something we do fall short on. His playing style is similar to Danny Brough although miles apart at present in ability. His defence at superleague level would be a worry though and he's going to take a good few weeks of fulltime training to get up to speed before he hits the first team I would of thought .

don't know about smith and tony, don't think any of them have played enough to warrant comment , good or bad but i think you are being unfair where lee is concerned. the lad has worked hard and done ok imo. thought he was outstanding at hull

This is the type of signing we should be going after, give the lad chance to build a career and you never know if we get our house in order and back in at the first attempt (assuming we do get the boot) then from a squad full of these type young brit lads we might just have the bones of a team if they mature and develop.

But the truth is Jims right, Moore only has a half decent kicking game to offer and thats only on narrow and/or sloping pitches, he will go missing the first time a big prop hunts him down and bangs him to the ground, and he seriously cant tackle for toffee.

Hes a decent player in the championship and has a bit of zip but he never ever going to make it in Super League. I can only assume your coaching staff are accepting youre going down and are signing him for next year in the Championship, you already have far better young players at Wakey.

err no, he's right in your opinion which doesn't make it so. If we listened to the opinions of other fans we would never have signed Brough, Wilkes or Moore just to name a few. JK has his doubters of which I am not wrong but when it comes to players with an attitude problem he is the master and most would accept that.

Allied to this, full time training and a different environment can be the making of some players. I've no idea whether Moore is the answer but in all honesty we have very little to lose.
