Ellis and Wilkes both signed by JE i believe, if he goes it makes you wonder if there is a connection.

Rumours at the time were of large wages for these two, no idea if thats true.

Why would he want to go to Fev when he is already contracted to WTW ?

Which makes it all the more strange that they would join a team with a £300K(?) salary cap (of course if the Wilkes to Fev rumour is true).

Same could be asked of Andy Ellis.

The only reason must be the appeal of playing part-time. Chris Hill left a very well paid job plus a part-time contract with Leigh to sign full-time with warrington. Could be the other way round ?

There is a trend of non RA signings leaving, a few others may be worried about there stay at WTW coming to an end

Just for information for you guys, Leeds Rhinos pre season started 5th November, and all players that were not on international duty returned.. Ian Kirke has not returned as of yet.

Only Fox, Lauitiiti and Mellars left, I’d be happy to see one of them go.

I hope that is an indicator he is coming to us.

Hope it's not Wilkes, he offers is much needed impact from the bench. He goes a little unnoticed but he's work ethic is second to none and you know what you get from him.

I agree but think we'll end up with one player that can cover both positions. Would like to see young Goulding sign up as well and also a young outside back. Does anyone know the score with Adam Fletcher? Has he signed fulltime?

I like Ollie, he's a quality solid prop forward but if he goes I'd have thought we'd be bringing in someone better or at least better value for money to replace him. Like Rey said, I seem to remember the rumor at the time was that we'd paid a fair amount for both Wilkes and Ellis when they came from London, so if the Coach believes we could use his wages better else where, so be it.

No thanks and I really don't understand this obsession with Kirke. He's an average SL prop in my opinion, I think if were to sign a prop at least lets go for one better than we already have!

Seems really strange to me how players like Ellis and Wikes haven't been snapped up by other SL clubs, some teams are crying out for players like those 2.
