2 great signings. as for george and murphy. think murphy is a great prospect and should be playing this week imo. put grix to 6 to see what he can do. as far as george is concerned, seems to be constantly injured. think we have got better coming through. maybe we should let him move on.

you really need to come and check out the academy on a sat, our youth development is at this moment is taking massive strides, plus the 10 that has just signed

west ham in football terms invested in bringing players throughn and had the best academy around..see joe cole rio ferdinand, frank lampard, etc etc hey knew they would lose them but they also knew the revenue from theri sales would keep the club alive, albeit with a small ground and a small following comparatively.

i have no probs if we create 3 and lose one to keep 2 and keep the club afloat, its the game and its business, we lose pitts to pay fergi more im happy!

no doubt he is a great player but im personally not interested in a 33 year old injury prone aussie, there are surely younger more promising and cheaper english lads out there

His record does not make good reading for this season and at 33 you would think it's unlikely to improve.

Not really, you have to blend experience with youth. George is miles of and Murphy will simply have to battle.

Drew is 35, our best player this season when playing of course.

Atkins, Gleeson, Grix, Ferguson, Murphy, Southernwood all under 23, added to that I suspect a couple more will get squad places from the Academy next season.

It's just my opinion but I feel the youth cared is overplayed. Frankly it doesn't matter to me ho old the team is or where we get them from so long as they function. There's enough youth or there will be in our squad next year to make me happy.

The worry is age plus injury though with Morrison. Now he could well play every game next season but weighing it up you would have to think he is more likely to pick up injuries due to his age.

True, but when/if he plays you know you will get what you want. A young player may well play every game but will only play 25% well. It's a balancing act and not easy to do but Kear has got good mileage out of our three OAP's JD, Martin and Drew who have all won us the odd game.

Equally as important have we currently got a Morrison type player coming through the ranks. Now that Pitts has left the answer is not really, if we did I'd think differently.

Morrison would be a good player for one year. His injuries this year have been broken ribs and a fractured wrist. they are injuries you can get at 18.

If it was shoulders( ie Solo) or Knees i would not touch him with a bargepole Plus his wife is gorgeous

The thing is, when you say he's injury prone that tends to suggest recurrent injuries. However Morrison's injuries at Bradford have all been different. Personally, I think it's more down to Bradford's other players not putting in the effort that means Morrison pushes himself harder to cover the lack of effort and therefore ends up hurting himself
