Not sure if there is any truth in these rumours. For me he has always been a Leeds player I've admired yet feel that McClennan never used him as effectively as Smith did. Would love to see him turn out in red, white and blue. Can we afford him and should we go after him?

Only Jeffries and Wildie are actually half backs out of those though. Others are either hookers or utility players a scrum half is a must. With Parker playing full back this morning could we field the first ever side containing just full backs and hookers? |

He's on the board so surely he can just give himself a new contract!
Though given that the bloke the board lined up for the job before Kear, Mr Lowes, is currently part of that joke England coaching team maybe it's best that Kear makes that decision. |
