Obst is a hard worker, a decent player, but him leaving would not be the same as the ravens fleeing the Tower of London.

The more I think of it, the more Demetriou's stint at the club can never be fairly judged. He was in a position no-one would wish on anyone with the tragedies which hit the club, but his leadership and media skills then should not be used to base everything on. Especially not when his playing skills were on the wane, due to age, around the same time. Players get old, no-one lasts forever.

to the cougar fan, one thing youll get with JD is a fella wholl give 100% ,have fresh ideas and wont BS the fans.He ll stand by his opinions and ideas and wont waver just for an easy ride. If you are 'friends' with players, you can never have an unbiased view of them. Saying that, many of those who were pally with McNally changed their tune as soon as he left the club.

I think Hendo avoids hero worship because he was born in Torquay so it would be a bit too much like praising a homegrown player.
