Nobody knows the criteria and I would assume it would be refined for over the licence period, not inclusive of any time before that. Therefore Wakefield would be ahead based on the first year but if Cas finish above Wakefield this season it would be 1-all. Although, there seems to be some confusion as a few people seem to think that one season finishing in the eight would qualify you for that point, which would mean Cas and Wakey are equal.

I agree with the featherstone poster the championship is looking better than ever, a real sporting division without the obvious bias of the Superleague. You lot stay at Belle Vue and we will stay darnt lane, and let battle recommence in the championship, sticking two fingers up to Superleague at the same time.

There were 5 teams given a warning by the RFL re Stadia - they can only bring one team up from the NL, I think bringing two in at once would be pure folly. So by my reckoning, if us and Cas cannot agree on a groundshare, then at least one of us would still be in regardless of work progressing on the stadium.

They might as well tell all the teams with stadiums that are fit for the elite competition not to bother going through the application process - if teams that don't meet that requirement are first in line for the chop (regardless of how well they score on the rest of the application issues)

There are 2 worse applications than both us and Cas who are pretty much guaranteed to stay in because of where they are located (even though neither have managed to develop their supporter base in the whole SL era - despite one of them having millions in what would be classed as their catchment area)

I agree there but Belle Vue is terrible and we need a change the jungle at castleford isn't a bad ground you look at portsmouth who were in the prem there ground aint exactly premier league. Why do you "deserve" a new ground before Cas? At least Cas have tried to improve/maintain a decent ground and have gone so far down the road to a new one. WTWC's have done f all but let BV run down and because of that you deserve a new ground before Cas!!
