I think that's my issue too.

There is lots of noise about things that are wrong, but no good ideas (imo) about what to do.
We can all say:
1) Stick someone in from reserves
2) Buy someone new
3) Get rid of the coach

But in reality, most of the reserves have already been identified as less capable than the first team so this only works on a very small scale 1 for 1.
There is no one better out there to buy
I'm not convinced that a better coach is out there and available either (though I did always want to keep JK!)

So I'm in the camp of stick with what we have, work on team work, structure and consistency and only buy when you have someone better to bring in.
On that note: Sykes in my opinion has been good so far and a successful signing.

I agree with this, all I would add is maybe rotate the 1st team squad a bit more and see if there is a better mix, surely they were given a squad number because they were deemed good enough at the time. Nothing has changed other than maybe some of them becoming disillusioned at the lack of chances.

For certain games lessons will need to have been learned but generally to have any form of segregation for an ordinary game would IMHO be a total over reaction. You don't ruin it for the majority by pandering to the minority. Let's see how it goes free and easy as it's always been at BV - if it becomes a regular issue then we will have to act - for now the scenes from good friday remain a massive rarity.

There is always a bit of trouble at big matches, I think the newness of a roof and thus an atmosphere went to the heads of some and they got very over excited - might get used to it after a few games.
