We were so lazy today Brough put in the best kick of the day and the chase was so bad that a minute or so later Bradford scored to make it 20 - 14.

Why when playing against a big side like Bradford do we have two hookers on the bench? Show some balls Kear and drop one of them.

Agreed, i hate to single out players but he has to do more to warrant his place in the side. As soon as Murphy or George are fit enough he should be dropped.

I'd rather be singing his praises but it's clear he's not really bothered i'm afraid.

we wasn't that far off the mark as far as scoring tries five each, shame the kicking was poor today,
we can go on slating refs all day when we lose, one of my pet hates is fans shouting at every given play for some kind offense to try and get possession back, but today if the ref done his job right it wouldn't of been a bitter pill to swallow.
I have no concerns about our attack, defense is having a bit of a mare of it and needs sort out quick, at times we made bradford look very ordinary and with out menzies they would be further down the table

If I was JD the first thing I would have done at the end of the game when the lads where back in the dressing room would be to sit them all down and go round the room looking each of his mates in the eye and ask them:

"Why didn't you help me when I needed you?"

The fact he was on his own, swinging against several Bulls spoke more about the performance and attitude today than anything else in my opinion. The Bulls didn't hold back, they where there for thier mate, our boys left him sandbagged.

Plenty of players should be asking that of each other. Maybe his team mates should be asking JD why he started such a pointless fight rather than just getting on with the game? Don't get me wrong JD has been great this season and previous seasons but today he should never have been on the field.

I take your point, but you need your mates to back you up in a game like this. I am guessing he is one of the most respected players in the club, and if they won't put them selves on the line for him, what chance do we have?

I don't think starting a scrap was pointless, it could have changed the game and swung it in our direction. Plenty of teams do this sort of thing. Just a shame that none of our lot had the minerals to dish a bit of stick out and get fired up, you don't know how the game would have gone, we sure as hell weren't going to win playing like we had the previous hour.

They did show a lack of balls but then it was no surprise really.

Just thing JD probably started the fight because he was frustrated at how he and the team were playing. Hopefully he will go in for his op now and come back, back to his best.

Didnt enjoy game much today but.....think some of the garbage on here tonight is even more shocking

1 we lost because we had a gaping hole in the defensive line 3 times in the first half in exactly the same place just to the left of centre looking defensively, through this whole bradford scored 3 converted tries, no one missed a tackle cos no one laid a hand on the runner, its not crap tackling its bad defensive pattern. BEANS in you go!!

Spot on. Not sure about Grix as a Stand Off though but in my opinion he would be no worse than Rooney who I'm afraid has passed his "sell by date" but before I get jumped on, its only my opinion.

We have a lot of players out of contract at the end of this season and we need a good clear out but of course we will be restriced by finance. I suspect we have the smallest wage bill in SL which should leave us in 14th place but we punch above our weight but we cannot do this for 27 Rounds, I'll predict that we will finish no higher than 10th.

Totally agreed, That was the first thing i noticed, JD and BJ having rough tumble then burgess few others helped his team mates, our players just walking to scene, then realised oh and a few came in, I didnt like that attitude at all.

absolutely spot on that my friend. same players went through the same hole 3 times and you are right, they were not missed tackles, because no one layed a hand on menzies or langley. our defence needs serious attention. back to basics

Jd was trying to get the ball off BJ who was messing around then scruton came in throwing his weight around and JD stood is ground and well done i say. sruton was the aggresser who shoved Jd into the ref.
