They been putplayed again by a poor catalan performance stop blaming refs catalan also had what looked a clear try not given

Line speed pedestrian, leading to Catalans rolling every play of the ball, making yards after contact and able to create overlaps.
Our passing is slow leading to flat runners getting dominated, can't create overlaps due to this.
Using Battye the same way as King, Battye can't change a game off the bench.
Never felt as fed up with how the team is playing week in week out.

Another week, another loss. When will enough be enough eh? When we’re too far gone? I came into this season thinking now that Chester has the halfback he wanted and new coaching staff we might do better. If anything we’ve gone backwards.

God give me strength. Effort is one thing, but if that effort is channelled via a well thought out game plan, by a coach who places that fear of God into players to generate the energy (Alex Ferguson, Craig Bellamy, Ricky Stuart, etc) then the plan will yield results. Chezzy is a lovely bloke. We've all said it. We've all spoken to him down BV at some point. Top bloke. But we need some friction in that changing room. Even at U11's I was scared of the coach and it would drive me through the game. Angst also creates focus. It's not all negativity. Just my 2c

Were our tries individual efforts or from some sort of organised play.

With a week off if the club are to make a coaching change its probably the best time.
Don't think anything will happen because Chester fits the club structure.
Its no good giving the job to Last it just will not work if indeed he's off at the end of the season.
The club have to take a total change of direction by backing Chester with some money and pdq or by brining in a new man and backing him.

Newsflash: Points make prizes, effort is admirable but it's all about the win(s).

Ashall-Botts was able to do what he did to score his try because Westerman took it to the line and put doubt in the defenders before passing to Lino who did the same, before passing to Bott.
Catalans were nothing special, we made them look better than what they were because we're so poor at the basics.

Ateotd we can make all the excuses /reasons in the world but we have lost our way. There is no cohesion in attack or defence. Something has to change and quickly. We can't get rid of the squad so that leaves Chester as the fall guy. He has to go or there is a very strong possibility of relegation. That would be the demise of a club that I have supported for over 50 years and that p*s*es me right off

We all know like after every defeat Chester is going nowhere because he will be backed by Carter. When I say backed it is more implied than said because I am still to read anything from the club about our performances. We hear the same excuses from Chester but I would like to hear from Carter why he believes Chester is still the answer and how we are going to survive in SL.

That’ll help motivate them again. If you keep telling a player that they aren’t good enough then eventually that will become their mindset. This might explain some of the issues we are seeing.

He said basically the team keep making the same mistakes, they lack quality, plenty of effort and we are about to turn the corner.
With regards the team anyone watching his coaching master class (which could be open for debate) that we sign grade C players because that is all we can afford or maybe sometimes B- if lucky.

Doesn't help when there's quality not in the 17 in Brad Walker.
Don't know what he's done wrong or why we've signed him.

It's very debatable if we would have fared better against last season bottom six teams!
There are no easy games in SL and I just don't know where our first win is coming from.

Yes good teams on paper but leeds wigan hull and last night the games where all there for winning due to other clubs injuries.we like to blame injuries when where not doing so well but cant win v teams with injuries ie leeds and wigan..speaking of leeds theybhave won 2 of there last 8 games which for a club like leeds aint good but who was both of those wins against...yes us

We will see when we play them. My point is, it's too early to make a judgement on this season when we've only played top sides, almost exclusively away from home. You can point to the results and the way we've collapsed at times during the games, but the reality is we maybe should have beaten Leeds, we could have beaten Hull FC and even last night, had Kay's try been awarded and we'd gone in front with 10 to go, I would have expected us to win. We were looking pretty dominant up to that point in the 4th quarter.
We seem mentally fragile with errors and periods of lack of concentration or direction. Scoring from pressure also seems to be an issue, but we've played some teams with excellent defences. I still think we're short of on-field leaders to rally the troops and keep the focus during a game.

Too early....you say we lost to good top sides yes on paper we did but are leeds playing well NO did they have alot of injuries YES like i said in my previous post leeds have won 2 of there last 8 both against us.i also feel the hull game was a game we should of won they played a extra time game with only 4 full days to recover.i really admire how positive you are i tried to be for last night game tipping us to win but sadly i was wrong .think where now in a postion we mustwin at least 1 of our next 2 games can i see that happening..no

Again, cherry picking. I guess you're including Leeds' cup loss against Saints. The game they won against us last year was on a 3-day turnaround with a load of kids playing for both sides. (18-20), if you go back just two more games they also lost against us and Cas, so 2 from 10, but that doesn't work so well.
The Leeds game this year is probably one that got away. They had players missing, but their squad is much stronger than ours and the pack they had out that day was not weak, that's where they beat us. A few of our top players are still underperforming by their standards and a club like Wakefield relies on those players.
This may become our worst season ever and we may be relegated, but it's still foo early to tell. I've seen us play some good rugby in spells this year and a run of wins could still turn our season around. We'll see.
