I agree with you one hundred percent. I could never undertstand the views of some of our posters who seemed so vehemently anti wakefield.. I was not on the messageboards when we were having our bad times so did not understand where all the hostility came from. yet after the last couple of days i can now understand it.

I have always tried to manage what were the worst excesses and the number of PMs i have had from our posters since starting to be a mod accusing me of being "pro wakefield" or "cosying up to my wakefield friends" was riduculous. even when raising money for the Adam Watene fund people had a go.

But after reading all the crap over the last couple of days on their site having a go at the Giants, Ken Davy or whoever was too much. If this is a only a % of what crap Giants had to put up with from some of the anti huddersfield brigade i can now understand why some of our posters hate Wakey with a vengeance.

I will not go down that route because i have met some great Wakey fans ( spent ages talking to two of them at Cardiff last week) but it has now got to the stage where i agree with ivor





When someone as reasonable and as knowledgable as Ivor feels like that how can you disagree.

As far as i am concerned now they are on their own sod them . I wonder whether it was worth the hassle i have had in the past.


Good luck to the decent Wakey fans they deserve better than they have got . as for the rest ( i will refrain from saying what i really want to.)

All anger and dismay should be directed in the main at Ted and his cronies.

Ted has left us on a cliff edge hanging by our finger nails, the RFL and a few clubs are collectively standing on our fingers when we might reasonably expect a helping hand.

The problem is a lot of Wakefield fans are 'lashing out' borne out of frustration and lack of updates.
Its a terrible time to be a Wakey fan at the moment and I while I dont agree with lashing out at other clubs
(and certainly not their supporters) you must have a slight idea why.

Of course it's not Shudds/Hull/Catalans/Quins(?) fault we are in the situation we are in...we all know the reason why we are in this situation.....however, put yourselves in our position...your club is on the brink of going belly-up, and the only asset you have left is the players, but there is an investor who is trying his best to arrange a purchase of the club, and the vultures then swoop... Ermm, right we'll have Brough, Brown, Cudjoe and Lunt....£50 enough Mr Administrator ?...fine....Leeds can have Grix, McGillvary and Lawrence for £10 each....Saints can have.....etc etc etc...(Cas can have the burger van !!!).
How would you feel ???

Yes things are in limbo at the moment, and we are all very frustrated understandably, but do you really expect us to be grateful to you for helping strip all our assets ????

You no what i love it how all of you blame hudds for everything! If things were the other way round, you'd be happy enough to take our players wouldnt you?! I understand you are all frustrated, you ve got every right to be. You ve been let down by your own club and everything has gone belly up. I hope Mr Glover hurrys up so that you all can start to hopefully get back to rugby matters and not money matters!!
