Serious question here, does anyone know for sure if Wakefield are applying for a super league licence next year. The only reason I say this is because there seams to be a lack of player recruitment and having talked to a couple of people who are quite close to your club over the weekend I got the impression things are far from certain for next season and beyond. I will say nothing was confirmed either way but has anyone on here heard anything similar?.

Wakefield will have (I hope) players more or less tied up for next season. Those that aren't like Latu will be announced as they go elsewhere.

Just wish OTHER clubs will announce that they have signed Cookie and Gleeson.

They have and Cooke will be leaving too......can't comment on Gleeson though!

Kear is quoted in the league express as saying signings won't be announced until the end of the season but that when they are the fans will see we have signed some good young british players - read into that what you will
