Yeah , but once again - because of a few s everyone else has to suffer ( I know it's not really suffering but you know what I mean ) - bit like wine going up in supermarkets 'cos folk go binge drinking .
It's not what the games about - you should be able to stand next to an opposing fan without giving it a second thought to my mind .

I wouldn't be surprised if by friday the game is all ticket. I'd recommend all Wakey fans to get an advance ticket asap.

I'm in the same boat, plus it's 100 x easier getting in through the turnstiles on Donny road. Always walk past the long queues (never a queue at the paying ones though

) behind the sticks and up dog poo ally.

Have to agree Spongebob, but it is a 50/50 call on your part, you could risk it and be standing amongst decent respectable Cas fans ( I am told there are 1 or 2 !!), but on the other hand, you might not !!!!

My understanding is that WT fans can still use the Doncaster Road turnstiles, but away fans can only use D Rd (obviously applying to 'standing' only)

Took me and my brother in law about 15 years to realise watching the match would be much easier from the opposite side of the ground!

Anyone else think it will be chaos? I don't think we are giving credit to the volume of fans they will bring! I'm all up for us getting together behind the sticks but I'm not convinced this method will work.

It would be chaos if these measures weren't enforced, as for volume of fans the east terrace does hold a few thousand & cas dont bring that many compared to Leeds or both hull clubs who bring the most travelling support to belle vue

I've not yet ever been impressed by the stewards at BV...

These measures have been taken for 2 reasons:

1. This new roof will ensure there will be a huge amount of noise and atmosphere. Why would we want away fans to congregate on the North stand and make our players feel as if we're playing away ??? We have spent this money as part of the licence application but we 'as a club' have decided to make this our kop so to speak to give our players the lift they need - as every other side do in SL. This is our ground and we have every right to enforce who goes where. Not popular in everyones eyes but we must try and look after the interests of our own first.

2. Although we dont like to think there are problems and issues within the crowd due to this 'Rugby Family' thingy, reality is we do have problems from time to time. With a 7.30 kick off on a bank holiday there will be numerous fans from both sides who will be on the ale most of the day before the game - and i would guess that the majority of those will be young lads. With this in mind the decision the club have made to seperate home and away fans on this occasion seems like a very good idea to me. Why risk problems ? Away fans tend to stand on the North Stand and we are currently on a massive push to get as many of our fans on the North stand. Lots of beer + fans mixing in cramped conditions = trouble.

Hopefully the game will go to plan ( for us ) and the only talking points will be what happens on the field. But im 100% behind the club on this and feel it will prevent unsavoury scenes.
