All true, Booth/Hkr a 4 year deal, Wakey, only a 12month loan deal. I like most of you are not kean on this prior 12 month sign on lever players now have, but it is what it is ! So, we should have signed players like Max last year, now we are in a weaker position, this kind of situation will continue unless we wise up Quickly ? It may not just be money, players like stability & 4yrs is very tempting !

The 4 years is nothing to do with us.

You’d of thought we had just swapped Dom Young the way some are going on. We’ve just swapped Booth for a younger more accomplished player (Yorkshire, England academy international) in a position we actually need bulking up. Let’s see how the lad gets on, he’s got all the athletic characters to be a top player. It’s a year loan in the last year of his contract, so I’m pretty sure he’ll be working his backside off to earn a contract with us, if it doesn’t work out then we cut ties with no 2/3 year deal hanging over us. To me it seems really simple good business.

But the facts are Booth was already off, Neil won’t get in over Tom Davies or Joe Burgess who both are rarely injured. He has more opportunity in our team for sure to get a starting birth, with Walmsley untested at SL and Russell aging and still not played a competitive game in yonks.

I know your right mate, it just bugs me when they dont know how much effort, commitment and money has gone into this theres no bigger trinity fans than whoose at the helm now.

Anyway we all have different opinions of players. I liked booths pace but I share opinion with a few others that he was a bit soft at times.

Odd one this one. I get that hes down the pecking order, but dont see him being any further up the pecking order at Hull KR. Also, the player coming in, I know you can't judge on a highights reel, but he doesn't look that special from viewing that. Having said that prepared to go with the judgement of Daryl, Ste and Matt over a one minute highlights reel.

Neil Tchamambe is out of contract at the end of this year so although he is on loan to Trinity he will not be retuning to Hull KR. Don't know too much about Noah Booth but Rovers obviously rate him to give a 4 year deal. Tchamambe has been disappointing for Rovers. When you look at his physique you think he looks the part but he doesn't run with any conviction and you end up shouting at him to give it a bit more. He has never come close to making the first team and when Lee Kershaw was signed as a back up to wingers Tom Davies and Joe Burgess it was obvious the writing was on the wall for Tchamambe. I'll be surprised if Neil Tchamambe makes the grade at Trinity or any other Super League club.

I’ll reserve judgement but if our back room can’t find the quality or growth in him then I doubt many others will. I’m sure he will be giving his all and we have a DR with Batley and reserves to see how he goes.

It worked fine.[/quote:30p6ydh9] I think the problem with the old system was that clubs and more specifically AGENTS weren’t adhering to the rules and players were being tapped up anyway.. but I’m not sure this will work either… I think some clubs will be inclined to just pick of other clubs talent as they see fit..
