I am with Trinity Knight on this one. Based on what I have seen over the last 10 games are so, there are quite a few more HKR players more than a match for ours.

HOWEVER, forget the player match up, the really big disparity is Smith v Chester and that is where they win hands down and have the greatest advantage.

I'd have agreed with you only a few months ago when we were playing well, however, since we hit tough times it has become clear to me that far too many of our players are paper tigers who when the going gets tough they hide. That's whats disappointed me most, it's not an effort thing, it's a taking responsibility thing. They run around and put the effort in but it's robotic, nobody is taking the game on. That's how I see it and it's not what I paid to see. I can find you 20 lads on Eastmoor who will give you a 100% effort, being a pro requires far more than just that.

I'm with you in principle but I'd rather have Arundal, Masoe and Arundal don't play the same position and I'd rather have Kirmond.

Yes that why i paired arundal with linnet both plsying SR/C postion.i do feel tight with regards kirmo and jordan to that point i have up most respect for both and like both

You can make all the comparisons you like, but the Trinity players named were all part of a squad we were all proud of a few months ago. You wouldn't have swapped any of them, at least I wouldn't.
They are still good enough to take on the likes of HKR IF they play as they can.
Sadly I'm just not sure we will.

They have some absolutely fantastic playmakers in McGuire, Atkin &
Drinkwater.

They’ve got real size, power & energy up front in Masoe & Garbutt and a superb strike centre in Linnett.

Add in the experience of Hadley, Tomkins, Huraki, Hall, Keinhourst & Quinlan

They’re a good team that’s recovering well from a poor start while we are sinking like the Titanic after a good start.

I can’t see us winning this one.

And then there is the comparison where they beat us hands down. The coach.

Wont be popular on here put I feel we need Brough this game for his kicking game and experience.

what kicking game please explain, he can’t run he can’t pass and he can’t kick and it’s not because he’s not been a damn good player his legs have gone he plays and all kr attack will be at him he simply can’t get across. It’s all about opinions that’s mine and miller can’t play with him if this continues we will get relegated

IMO we simply cannot afford to continue with Brough he has been mickey poor since he came back from injury and now we definitely have options he should be dropped

Don’t agree at all about Mosoe, almost as lazy and ineffective as PP unless he’s improved dramatically under Smith.

That’s half true imo. However this wasn’t the case before he got injured and I don’t see how a broken thumb can rob you of whatever speed you have left. It’s a team game and although Brough hasn’t looked good since his return it’s fair to say that his fellow players have hardly been responsive either.

Though I do think it’s time to drop Brough there is much more to our decline than just him.

Your right we do need brough......to sleep in and miss the team bus and to stay at home

1. Last Sunday, he kicked the game off which bounced hit a hull players leg and went out of the field of play.


2. About 7# minutes Broughy put up a bomb which stand in full back Connor spilled.

Did he assist in helping us score after these two kicks, in fact did he have any try assists during the Hull game. What about the other times he kicked it dead or direct to the Hull player not including the number of times both against Hull and throughout the season he has passed it into the ground or behind the supporting player.
I would ask those who have access to the stats how many assists have been allocated to Brough this season.

So 2 things in a 80 min game yep we be champions

Hampshire - 9 Tries/14 Assists
Miller - 7 Tries/13 Assists
Brough - 2 Tries/12 Assists

So for assists alone it makes them 14th, 17th, & 20th positions on the overall superleague charts.

The leader is Jackson Hastings with 32. The next best have 20.

Does not matter what the team is they will play the game as slow as they have been doing for the last 14 games. Very much like the season when we were in the last million £ game .A coach who was getting no help from is back room staff . We got rid of the coach and the first job the new coach did was bring in a conditioner.The next seasons we got rid of the new coach and is conditioner but the same backroom staff stayed the same. The same backroom staff who are in charge now and are out of there depth in S L .Do not expect Wakefield to have a right to escape relegation on the last day
