You've shot your bolt here - I was actually referring to the fact that I dislike large, soulless, empty football stadiums for watching RL; which is what you have.

I just did a search and it appears they were £139 so you're right not quite £99 but at less than a tenner a game you'd expect to have a fair few take you up on that offer.
£21 to buy a ticket for tomorrow on your website right now so a season ticket effectively gives you 50% of your games for nowt.

Frankly, I don't really care how many you get compared to how many we get. What I care about is how much revenue our ticket sales generate to fund our team because we don't have someone with very deep pockets keeping us afloat.

I detest the sale of low price tickets with a few very targeted exceptions. All it does is cheapen the product and causes people to under value it.

The whole idea is flawed as we ourselves found out. If you value a game at £12 then these 'new' fans believe thats what its worth, why wouldn't they. The minute you raise it to the correct price of say £22they are outraged and won't pay and promptly bog off. Hence you don't achieve anything in the end, its just an illusion.

Trinity's increase in support may be a very slow advance but every fan we earn we earn from and that matters in the long run. The moment Hudds lose their sugar daddy they are in real bother and then we will see the real level of support.

I'm not gloating, I even understand why Hudds do it but they are utterly misguided imho.

School children/Disabled/College students/targeted work forces and perhaps more contentiously ethnic groups, Poles for example for whom the game is not part of the culture.

Thats my opinion and I do believe the last 25 years of SL support me as the other two big freebie clubs Bradford and Keighley have fared none to well.

You don't get bigger crowds than us though, you might sell more season tickets due to your club hugely subsidising them, but irrespective of whether they turn up or not they are counted on your attendance figures, which in turn gives a false representation on your attendances. HTH.

Anyone recommend anywhere to park tomorrow night? The stadium car park is a nightmare to get out of.

Someone gave me a couple of tickets for a HTAFC match the other year and couldn’t get parked anywhere.

that is so relevant as well the last 2 years we have rested players for the cup games and got knocked out... our only chance for a trophy now this year is the cup - we should put all energy into that - even a final would be great

It would be nice to have a decent cup run but unfortunately we do not have the luxury of rotation, if we can't rest a few for this cup game, they ain't gonna get a rest, and that is asking for trouble.

I was feeling pesimistic when Huddersfield scored eighteen unanswered points to go in front.

Supporting Queens Park Rangers, I'm not used to "my" team coming back to win games like this. The spirit in the team must be quite exceptional!

Seriously wish that MCB could be brought back into the fold. He's far too good to be sidelined in an obscure RU league. His value to us was on full show today.

Every time we pick up a great win there seems to be a payback, sounds like Arona's out for a minimum of three months!

No luck at all with the injuries never known it like this before. The tackle he was injured in was messy, thought he was held way before ref called it.

This reminds me of the Glover days. We'd announce crowds of 7000 when clearly it was 5. Even allowing for the optical illusion of a few in a big stadium, I'd be surprised if 2500 hudds fans attended tonight. Probably 1500 Trin fans. 4000 attendance IMO

This makes no sense. If Glover announces more people in the ground he would pay more income tax? Is this not correct? The fact is there were more in the ground but using heavily discounted tickets. Now everyone who attends has paid, which is miles better for the club. We are building a solid fan base which will continue to grow now the ground is our own and will be given a facelift.
