Not quite sure of the full story on Finn regarding injury etc but, he's just not doing it at the moment.
We know that he's not the quickest but, he is/was our organiser but, it simply isnt happening.

Whilst Ashurts had an excellent game and you cant deny him his try, the score only comes because our halves just aren't in control of the game and he tries a speculative kick.

We were the better side for 50 minutes yesterday and there was some improvement on last week but, Huddersfield are ordinary at best and with Catalan and Huddersfield improving, we are already in a fight to avoid the bottom 4.

Widnes is our first "must win" of the season and pressure is starting to build on the players, coach and club.

for me the problem has been the half backs all season. Miller blows hot and cold and now Finn seems to have lost form, so we apparently drop a winger and full back.

It's just a good job we got points on the board early on in the season otherwise we'd be well down in the bottom 4 now.

That was pretty terrible - and if Kruise Leeming wasn't as thick as mince, we'd have lost by a fair bit more.

With a few notable exceptions, it was a dreadful team performance; Ashurt was a good as ever, and Pauli and Big Dave tried hard - but Finn, Tupou, BJB, Lynn, MCB and Kirmond were awful. I can't work out if Hampshire is adding anything, and Miller has moments, but he's either doing too much, or not enough - either way, it's not working.

I've been fairly sanguine about losing to teams that are self-evidently better than us - but that Shudds team are bang average, and losing two on the bounce is really poor. A very downbeat end to a weekend that was distinctly short on 'Magic.'

It also puts to bed the myth that it will all be fine when the sun comes out and pitches firm up. Well It couldn’t have been much better conditions yesterday and it was fine the week before as well. In fact when Salford beat us the conditions were good also. Maybe we just are massively under achieving. Or not that good.

Miller is a one excellent, match-winning game in six kind of player. He’ll then bang average for four with a headless chicken one thrown in somewhere as well. Thats why he plays for us and not a top team or in the NRL.

I think that was Bishops worst game this year, despite scoring 2. I don't think it's fair to give Tupou or MCB any grief, we hardly sent the ball down that side - pathetic attempt to score in the corner from MCB though...

Have to agree there. He jumped into the air instead of diving low. This gave the defender every chance of stopping him.

BJB got caught on defensively a few times yesterday, shooting out of the line way too early when he didn't need to. MCB try was great defense from JM but i actually think if that`s TJ he would of scored that.

I thought that - I know everyone loves superman tries, but there is a time to just put your head down and go low, and this was definitely one of them.

Exactly right HOMME VASTE... the second try was as a result off BJB shooting out when Lynne was in his correct position.

The partnership also didn't work yesterday either, seemed to be a lack of communication.

MCB hasn't got the technique right when trying to do the dive like Tom Johnstone, BJB, Greg Eden or Tom Makinson. Had any of those had that chance, their feet would have been a lot higher going over the line.

Just an observation but in the excitement of you agreeing with homme vaste regarding BJB's defensive errors' you've typed his name in capitals instead of lower casing, is that a genuine error or does it extend further? just asking like

Seriously though, If I was a Hudds fan i would really be looking at the way Wakefield played (As that first half was as poor of a performance i have seen from any team this season) rather than the way they played.

I honestly think that had they played any other team yesterday they would have been beaten.

Yep, we were although the sin bin had very little to do with any chance we had to be fair. Whilst he was off we scored a try and you scored a try.

Huddersfield have been dreadful most of the season though, people in glass houses and all that. As I say had it been any other team in the league I am sure you would have been beaten as dreadful as we were we very nearly pinched it which is slightly worrying from your perspective.

This always makes me laugh mate. Every team says the same and you never hear coaches admitting that they can't wait for the pitches to become heavy.
