I believe that Grix is still at Warrington under their medical staff supervision. I suppose we will find out if he plays in any of the next seven games.

Difficult one really. Think I would go with Miller and Smith initially and if Smith is not going well change for Godinet.

Smith has a lot to prove for me and if he doesn't hit the ground running in round one of be reluctant to see him in again.

I'd prefer godinet at 6 and Miller 7 with sio/Moore at 9.

Be interesting to see what Brian smith goes with.

Miller and Smith Does not work, and IMO is the worst possible combination based on what I have seen this season.

Smith gets all the ball and Miller is left to pale into the background.

Don't see the benefit to Wire of having Grix off their books, if he is not going to play for us then surely we won't be paying him anything to be a 'non player'. If we aren't paying him then that is no financial saving to Warrington, unless he still lives over this way and it saves them travelling expenses that they may pay him.


It must be the intention for him to play for us either this season or the next, or both!

It's not a money thing, they have loads of that. It's a player numbers and salary cap numbers thing so that Sandow can play.

Seems we have just done Warrington a favour. There is a maximum squad number as well as a salary cap limit for the super 8's is there not? So to bring in Sandow they possibly needed to move someone on. If Grix isn't going to play this year theres no reason for us to have taken him on and they rate him highly so he won't be here next season. Seems like Brian has helped Tony out with no benefit to us.

Out of all the clubs I have seen us play regular both home and away Bradford have always forced the worst from us. I can count after 30 years on one hand the number of times we have risen to their challenge. Best effort was perversely in a similar situation to this in 2006, but lightning striking twice?!

We really are poor against the Bulls which is a worry as I think the result against them will be the clincher even though it's early on.

Godinet (if fit) and Smith in the halves for me - I won't be fooled by Millers four try display against Wire, he has no kicking game and doesn't know how to organise. Godinet and Smith can't really kick the ball well long distance but they are our best creative players.

But that's only if Godinet is fit. And Howarth is out as well. Meaning we only have super duper Scott Moore at 9.
