I would agree with that 100% mate. I haven't missed one game in the last 5 years, home, away, friendlies. I have seen the good , the bad and the downright ugly but looking at the team we put out and the team we were playing and the totally biased referee, away to the 2nd best team in the comp. I don't think we did too bad. I think that some of the young lads showed up well and imo the effort was there. I am sure that a lot of the part time coaches on here will doubt that but I will be at hkr next week doing what a lot of you so called supporters should be doing. think Webster is managing the squad pretty shrewdly with what he has got and I am not really bothered if we win another game as long as when we get to the business end of the season he does the business which is plainly the plan

Jury is out for me with Webster but there will have to be a serious improvement in defence in the end of season games. It is by no means a forgone conclusion that teams like Leigh and Bradford are beaten already even when we get out 'star' players back -most of who would not get in another SL team!
I cannot remember when I saw a Wakefield player doing other than letting an opposing player run at him instead of meeting him and showing some enthusiasm - a bit of the fire that Nigel Bell had.

Anyone who thinks we can continue on this pitiful run and suddenly flick a switch when it comes to the middle 8's and start winning games is in the words of Nigel Pearson an "Ostrich".

It's time for the players to start playing like a team and having some pride in their own performances - Losing is one thing being continually "mullered" is quite another. Unfortunately, whilst the current coach remains in charge and he and sections of the fan base continue to make excuses for their poor performances nothing is likely to change including when we get to the middle 8's.

Things ain't going to get better by sticking your head in the sand and hoping for a good performance in the middle 8s, nor by blaming the ref or anyone else. Fact is we've suffered another heavy beating, will probably suffer another one next week, week after that and the week after and soon until our points difference is probably -1000. But it's alright, some players are putting in "effort"

I agree it's going to be interesting if Hull KR and Leigh also run up a cricket score against Trinity as for me that should be the writing on the wall for a coaching change before the play offs for survival.

Strange how with some it is always the referees fault, or we have a few injuries, or maybe it is a short turnaround or some other cock and bull story. Never that we are just a poor side. I was there last night, the referee was equally as bad for both sides. They got the rub of the green first half, we got it second. We are just either massively under performing or downright not good enough, end of story. Same old every week, too many lame efforts in the tackle, too many penalties and too much dropped ball and a defensive structure that fails time and time again. Only practising defence in training he says? Well he is showing them the wrong things then. We are going backwards under Webster and he surely now has just two weeks to save his job.

I was there too last night and saw a team battling to the end but were just not good enough. Like I said previously we would struggle with a full squad let alone the one put out last night,…thats no disrespect to the young lads they were excellent. I saw us open Saints up on at least 3 occasions but just didn't have the speed to get over the line, I saw some great chase backs especially from young Johnstone and Lyne. Also thought Miller went ok at fullback, taking some good high balls. I will wait to see how we go against the likes of Hull KR, Hull etc with some of our injuries back before slating Webster.

From what has been said on here, it's seems FB is Millers best position for us

That position seems to be there for the taking to me because Hall is NOT a full back. I'd like to see him given a run at Stand Off.

True plus they are able to rotate their big men to do less minutes,where our forwards don't have the luxury,only a matter of Time before a missed tackle.When you put a 18yr old on against a pack like Saints it's a daunting task,I know he did nothing wrong and made his tackles but he's a bit away from a 80mins second rower which is what you want,ie Danny Washbrook.We havnt got the luxury of strength in depth,like the old Chinese proverb,you fornicate with the tackle you've got

.I believe I've seen improvement over the last couple of games,so hopefully a win at HKR.

There aren't many teams that have 20 stone 6 foot 4 tall prop forwards although Trinity have lost 10 games on the bounce now and the other teams didn't have huge packs. He'd invested in props who had a reputation for being injury prone such as Paea and Kirke and its back fired as Anderson has also got seriously injured. Paea obviously has a long term chronic knee injury with Webster referring to his current injury surprisingly being on his 'good' knee!

I hope that Anderson, Collis, Hall, Owen and Kirmond are fit to play the next couple of games and this horrendous run of form stops.

Looking on the positive side, the last 4 superleague games have been Leeds a Warrington a Wigan h and St Helens a. I don't think anyone would expect us to won those games although we would have hoped to compete better. The next 3 Hull K R a Leighton h and Widnes h don't look quite so daunting so let's stop talking about saving ourselves for the middle eight and start trying to restores one pride. At the beginning of the season we would have said these 3 games were winnable so hopefully players and coach will give 100 percent whatever the injury situation.

Websters comments about not having the ball for two sets of ten minutes, is the difference between Saints being able to score 40 at home, they know how to control a game.
In contrast to our home game when being 12-6 up at half time, playing Saints with one fit sub, we weren't prepared to be patient and control the game by making it them rotate their one sub more.
If you are starved of the ball for 20 mins, the dam is going to burst.
I'm still pretty optimistic, it's just the keyboard coaches on here in that have me shaking my head.

No criticism but I find it ironic as your comments could also be considered to be 'keyboard coaching'.

So basically you are agreeing that the coaching and player performances are not up to scratch. You don't need a coaching badge to see we are poorly coached and lack desire you just need to watch us on a regular basis
