I don't buy replica shirts to mince about in front of the mirror I buy them to support our club. Shirts and merchandise look good new sponsors and plenty on offer in the club shop

If that's the case, just give the club your money.

I think the point is that if they were nice looking shirts, they'd sell a lot more of them.

They are truly awful, I never thought I would be glad that we are using the current manufacturer whose ideas of sizing are laughable. I hope those in the pictures are squad shirts because they are somewhat fitted which most supporters aren't. I have not seen them in the flesh so hope that the cheap and nasty look of the material is due to the fact it is a picture and what is the dirty mark, some kind of paw print.
I can now see why they intend to bring out another two shirts because I just cannot see these catching on with anyone with a modicum of taste.
I fear and this forum appears to back it up that they have missed a revenue opportunity.

Won't be paying the best part of fifty quid apiece for them, don't like them at all. Good chance to get some wear out of some older shirts I suppose.

Maybe in future the kit designing should be left to the people who design kits for a living. The awful away kit from this year (and how many of them that are unsold) should have been a warning. I wouldn't ask the chief designer of Macron to do our books, so lets not do it the other way round either.

Offer it as a competition to local design students. Cash prize and great on the CV. Some of the mocked up ones on here are better than those ones. As Scarlet said, revenue opportunity lost.

I would hope that unlike some clubs our supporters are blessed with a freedom of thought that means we wouldn't accept anything if it had a badge on it. The country and many of its population have suffered wage stagnation so if you are asking them to pay nearly £50 then what you offer must be what they want and now even more so.
The shirt design is one of the clubs most important decisions financially and unfortunately they have blown it.

Some right nonsense being spouted on here. The Shirts are sound, especially the home one. Went t'shop today and bought a couple of season tickets, a shirt, three key rings and an air freshener

I think its mainly people who have only seen pictures who don't like them.most who have seen them up close seem to really like them.

Right so people who don't like the shirts are "spouting nonsense". You do realise people can have opinions. In any case I have it seen up close and can easily say they are the worst kits we have ever produced.

I'm not sure why these shirts are being rubbished. I think the white one particularly looks very smart and original.

The pictures in the online shop, showing Kirmond and Anderson wearing them, they look so much better. I don't think the launch photo of Ryan and Scruton do the shirts any justice. That said I still prefer the away shirt.

For what it's worth, over the course of last season I spent around £400 to £500 in the club shop but because I don't like these shirts I'm not worthy all of a sudden!

Have to chuckle at all this spleen venting over what is basically the inclusion of the Fluer de lis within the shirt design. Was it two seasons ago that the shirt was the worst ever because the blue/red band didn't go all the way round the back?
How profitable we must be when up until the next season "everybody" has been spending hundreds of pounds on replica shirts. I haven,t bought a replica shirt for about 3 seasons but will probably purchase both of these as I think they're worth holding onto for the heritage link. The last one I got was the thick blue/red hoops for the same link with our history.

Good to see the favourable comments from many neutrals with no axe to grind on the totalrl forum too.
