It was reported it had taken him 3 attempts to pick it up due to erratic gusts, no news on whether the said hat was damaged or not.

Either way, I bet he was livid *and* disgusted; when are the council/government/god going to do something about this persistent wind/hat problem? It's almost as if nobody wants to take responsibility and meanwhile, individuals and communities are left picking up the pieces. And their hats.

The stewarding at LSV today was appalling. Everyone could see Daryl Powell enter the ground brazenly holding an opened bottle of water. I' surprised there wasn't carnage with that number of innocent people in the ground.

Huddersfield's loss Was clearly Wakefield's gain when he upped sticks. What a clown!!

Peter Barlow should be an inspiration to every one in Wakefield .Move away to a small town with lower standards and you can aspire to almost anything you want.

What makes me laugh is that he is looking down on Wakefield and effectively calling us the great unwashed (even though he comes from Wakefield)
Now there is some lovely countryside around Huddersfield and some very posh farm house conversions but you can hardly say that Hudderfield is the great metropolis and image of modern Britain.

To be honest it’s just an example of why his career has stalled somewhat writing for a small time rag. I don’t think Fleet Street will be in touch anytime soon.
