I just hope the powers that be are not panicking with relegation back on. You've signed a fair load of players many of whom won't be on cheap wages. Best of luck for the rest of this season however.

I was told that Scruton had signed yesterday, then told Foster is next to be announced, poor defence but knows his way to the line - he should fit straight in at wakefield

Really good signing for us, will give us some good go forward and help our pivots get some space.

If Foster is next then, whilst there are deficiencies in his game, his goalkicking alone will win us points this season.

From what I'm hearing, that should be much less of a problem in the not too distant.

I can't help but suspect that Agar's approach is to avoid finishing in the bottom two by signing Bradford's key players to weaken our likely relegation opponents, as well as banking on London being hopeless. I say this as the two he has signed, as decent (good in Sammut's case) as they are, aren't the positions where we seem to be wanting the most; we have cover in the halves, especially with Seijka coming, and as nice as it is to have options up front, the outside backs seem to need it more on a squad we were led to believe would be shoestring.

If so, at least he is making up for the lack of faith in his coaching ability with a cunning plan.

Agar has always said he wanted an extra front rower. And if class comes along in any position and you are in a position to act like with Sammut, then you take it. I can't see all our squad staying with us and we may Loan players to Bradford who we feel are surplus if we bring more in?? I have no insider knowledge just my thought on the situation.

Thing is MC got Scruton and Sammut I believe Agar didn't have anything to do with it.

Agar said several weeks ago that he wanted another senior front rower to come in. I think this may have been on the cards for some time. Foster is a good kicker and Sykes seems hopeless so far this season at goal kicking.

Hope we can afford these players....and more money being pumped in to the club is a reality and not a myth.

Scruton and Samutt's wages will probably be covered by the contract Lee Smith was on.
Get Foster and that will do nicely, his defence may be ropey but he can finish and kick goals.
With a good centre looking after him, there shouldn't be much problem.

Pleased to see the source was once again reliable. Massive credit to Mr Carter et al. Made some very difficult decisions but now you guys are reaping the rewards. The Bulls did the opposite and now suffer the consequences.
