but yes, if fit, Maskill would be my choice. To be honest, when you beat us down Cas, Aiton didn't really have a good game.

As i said a total gamble.

Our season is sinking quicker than the titanic and too often we dont look at all fired up for a battle..........take Salford and HKR as prime examples.
When Cockayne played a more central/pivotal role he tended to "aggravate/wind up" the opposition.
His scoots would make good yardage,something we dont see from Aiton.
I think we should be looking for something that could change the way we are shaping up and offer a different dimension to what Aiton brings.

Aiton trained today, he as apointment this week with the doc, we have to wait and see

If we didn't have Aiton in the middle tackling like a machine we'd probably be conceding a greater points average. He is one of the top tacklers in Super League at present.

Sorry to disagree BUT we have seen Aiton doing a lot more "scoots" this season.

Aiton is a boss and we are weaker without him unless some of the other guys step it up considerably.

I think everyone would agree the guy is clearly talented. Unfortunately the 'cheap shot' element in his game is all too frequent. It's a shame, as it takes away from people talking about his natural ability.

I think that's the problem with him - he has the ability to do amazing things with the ball in hand, but he doesn't have the attitude or demeanour to do the hard yakka when things are not going his way. That could well be an issue of being frustrated at the quality of players around him, or it could just be that he's a divot - if ends up at the Salford Globe Trotters next season, I guess we'll find out.
