| Lets judge him on performances he puts in in a trinity shirt shall we? If we were to judge on playing history for other clubs more than half of our squad would have already been written off.
In my opinion Australian Rugby League is far superior to English Super league in the talent pool. Mentions of him not been a first grade player over there, well he has been playing first grade, i trust the judgement of the coaches of 2 sides that are in the best rugby league competition in the world. I dont think he would get in those teams for nothing.

Indeed the 3 ex Huddersfield lot wouldnt have been here and Tim Smith would have only lasted 5 games! Does anyone still remember the name of the guy (scrum half) who left and went part time at Batley? The most vociverous was NGB4C, just shows he's not alway right
Agar has a good record with who he wants (id even suggest if Steve Southern was played at 2nd row and not Prop he would have been great for us). The only let down for me has been Isacc John. if we've learnt anything, its to give a player and coach at least half a season to get up to speed and get to know team mates, structures etc.

| Quote ="Old Blighty"I saw every game he played for Cronulla, to be fair he came from Parra with big wraps, and started off ok... In a team which was losing far more than it won... By the end of season one the fans were screaming for his head, and he made very few appearances in season two... He went back to Parra and I am sure that they thought they could get him back to the form he had in his fist spell there (when he was a winger)... He has hardly featured this year. . For a team running last in the competition.
He is a really nice guy with all the physical attribute to be a good player... And on occasion he does something good... It's just very infrequent.
Still... He is held in higher regard than Tim Smith amongst the Cronulla fans... Sot there is hope!'"
Tim Smith is an excellent player for WTW and if Tauiti is of the same standard then he will be exceptional for WTW. He'll have a few familiar faces around him. WTW are not NRL it's a more open game and Issac John couldn't make it at WTW but has got in Penrith team so a move for a player can give more opportunities to develop their game.
As others have said judge him on his performances in the red, white and blue he has NRL pedigree so there is real ability there maybe he needs to be in a team that fights for each other and a coach that can instill belief?
Lets trust our coach whatever decision he makes when signing players he's done ok so far, this rumour could well be untrue anyway

Ok then you are right, because every player who ever doesn't please the touchline internationals of one team is bound to be the worst signing ever for another team. I mean it always works that way doesn't it. Your opening statement was really silly but if you want to continue to justify what is just your opinion then so be it. Just because you watch a team doesn't make you an expert, spend a season near clown corner at BV and you will realise that.
You see Agar clearly knows less than you and won't have studied this lad in any way and will have no idea about his failings.
So sarcasm aside lets be realistic. There must be something in this player Agar feels we need. Agar has a good record of mid season freshen ups and although all signings are gambles it's hardly a big one. Also SL is different to the NRL, it allows certain players time to do things they can't quite manage in the more organised NRL.
Just give him a chance, he's not the first player to arrive at BV wanting a second chance.
One last point, if he is so crap why has he got 50+ first team games under his belt in the superdooper NRL - either he isn't that bad or the NRL isn't that good?

Sorry Belly but from what I've seen Molloy looks a lot more ready for SL than Walshaw. TT I don't know but they don't look anything like the same kind of player to me.

How can you know he is nowhere near as good as Walshaw? - that's a ridiculous statement. How many times have you seen him play?
50 games in the NRL compared to about a dozen in SL - Somebody must have seen something in him, I'm prepared to give him a chance in a Trin shirt and judge him after that.

| Hope he goes well. Sadly, we are building a side with too many overseas players in it. HKR were an example recently. I hope we lose Mellars, who is exempt. It has to be a gutting feeling being pushed back down the pecking order if you are young and British. Lets hope it's forward planning for 2014s multi league shindig.

I think Belly is showing loyalty to homegrown players who are often overlooked which is fair enough. But over egging young homegrown players is no more helpful than doing it with overseas players.
I think all players deserve a chance and frankly the homegrown bit doesn't always cut it for me. The Molloy bit was a bit odd have to say as for me he's offered far more than Wallshaw did in the Hemel game - unfair as it is to judge on one game.
If Walshaw is good enough he will make it just like Anakin has.

No were not, we a building a team the origin of whom should be irrelevant - it's the ability that counts.
The truth is you either accept Agar won't play certain youngsters because the are not good enough. If you don't then clearly you feel he is unfit to coach because he's picking by favourites which is wrong. So which is it?

| I have always rated what is a good signing as opposed to a bad signing when you look at the overall package. This is the players ability, what he delivers to the squad and his cost. So far I think agar has been pretty shrewd, don't know about TT but I know molloy is here on very good terms.
If you need some bad signings to make a comparison to just remember some of the dross the last coach recruited.

For some reason we are talking two players now. So no TT has no impact on Wallshaw. Molloy on the other hand is a yes and rightly so, there should always be competition for any position.

You could argue that Molloy may also be a swap for Mariano , so that would not be a threat to walsahws future.

At the risk of going off topic, I don't agree with this viewpoint. I think we should be looking to do our part for the good of the game and signing imports (unless 'top draw', or potentially 'top draw') should be an absolute last resort for us.
I have no idea how good this lad will turn out to be or not, but that for me is a different issue. There should be no place in the game over here for mid level imports such as Mellers and the like, I dread to think about how much resources we have pilled into foreign imports over the last few years - the time and cash to scout them out, fly them over, provide digs etc wasted on mid season signings such as Winterstein, Leano and Hickey for starters mid season must be a massive drain on our club with limited resources.
Surely this cash could be better spent elsewhere?

As much as i agree (and believe me i do for the good of our international game) it is up for the RFL to take this lead and impose rules to that end.
It is not up to WTW to take the "morale crusade" standpoint.
