The game was handed to you on a plate, an amateur team would have put one on us that day with the amount of ball we gave away. Be honest about it, it was an awful game that Hull managed to get on top of in the end instead of claiming some sort 2nd gear victory.

Your over confidence could quite easily bite you in the booty, after all Hull are just an average SL team much like us. I'm pleased we got this draw, it'll be a test without being a game we can't win. 50/50

Slightly o/t but Richard Bacon seemed like he had been press-ganged into making the draw.
NEVER has anyone been so uninterested in the sport and he shouldn't be allowed to have anything further to do with the sport.
Billy Boston was trying to say something about a few of the ties and all Bacon had to say was "that's a good game is it Billy ?" in an uninterested manner.
It's no wonder the sport is thought of in such low esteem.
He even apologised to the masses after the draw was complete, when he should have been praising listeners for taking part in a draw for one of the oldest sporting competitions that there is in this country.

Don't get me wrong, Wakey were pants, and pretty much soiled pants at that.

However, just about every mistake your lot made close to the line, Hull capitalised on and made you pay. When the game got scrappy, Hull upped it and ran in 3 tries in less than 10 minutes.

So, yes, Hull did play you off the park despite not firing on all cyllinders

Hull will be favourites with the squad they have managed to buy but only just compared to a Wakefield squad that probably cost a fraction.

Just one word of warning to Hull on their day this Wakefield team have some quality and can beat any super league team. Hopefully they will play to their potential and play Hull off the park live on the BBC!

We have already finished in the top 4 a couple of times since we have been in SL.

Lots of people saying we have spent loads of money, can you tell me who on, as far as I know we can spend the same amount of money on the salary cap as any other SL team, it's not as if we bought loads of players, unless you can tell me otherwise?

Back on topic, hard game for both teams, but it could have been worst and both teams will be confident of a victory, doubt it will be a TV game, so hopefully we will put on a decent ticket offer and get a half decent crowd.

Cup game n anything can happen. Not to fussed about the Easter game as it was pretty flat n low key. That said hull were fairly smart n efficient at some points of the game and have been slowly carrying that on.
We'll probably have about 3 maybe 4 players that didn't play that day, Shannon McDonnall, Gareth Ellis Daniel holdsworth and kirk yeaman. 2of them probably our best players.
Wakefield are actually my 2nd team due to some player links and have watched live majority of games so I'm not putting Wakefield down but you'll need to improve to do us on our patch, your a bit off were you should be at the min. However scratchy hull s form is at min only been beat at home about 3 times since 2011

Mate I admire your enthusiasm but the good days don't seem to be happening that often this season.
To have any chance of beating Hull we need a massive lift in our form and that needs to start with a win at Widnes on Friday.

Doesn't make him wrong though - I think they only lost 1 game at home all last season (in SL anyway). Drew with Warrington and Saints and lost to Wigan, but beat everyone else at the KC.

I have no doubt this will be a big ask for Wakey, but I still prefer it to playing the likes of Wigan, Saints, Leeds, Warrington. It will be tough but it is winnable if the team play a full 80 minutes.

Yes but in both games we were about 6men shy of full strength. looks like some light at the end of the tunnel now injury wise.

A draw away to any Super League team is a tough ask but Hull are one of a few teams who have gone backwards in recent seasons.

I have distinct recollections of Hull finished in 2nd, 3rd and 4th in the SL era. Also reach a a number of major finals, and winning one of them during that time. I appreciate this is a foreign concept to you.

For the record, I wasn't gloating, I was correcting one of the other deluded souls on here claiming that both teams on Easter Monday had been very poor.

As for the amount of money spent, I would safely say that Hull are no where near the Cap this season

That Wakey choose to pay well over the odds for journeyman is there problem.
