| Leigh will welcome the Wildcats to the one of the best stadiums there is.
Enjoy your day in Lobbyland.
If you are in the South Stand, enjoy. 3 sides are seated. The North stand is the only terraced area.

| The 26 does go from Piccadilly to Leigh.
And yes Parky is still around doubt he’ll be at your game tho’
One of his best was in the middle of a game at Huddersfield he collapsed holding his leg, after 5 mins of treatment from the physio, they sent for the stretcher, they carefully lifted him onto the stretcher and just as they were about to pick it up, he jumped up and ran off doing cartwheels etc. Even all the players and the ref were laughing, not to sure the Doctor was.

| If we're in the seating area do we have to sit down? I hate sitting at rugby games and the atmosphere is a lot poorer when fans are seated

| For the fans that come to Leigh by public transport or are having a few drinks around the town and don't fancy walking to the stadium, although it's not that far of a walk, there's a 597 bus, run by Maytree Travel, to the sports village. The bus stop is the one on the main road outside the bus station, opposite the Leigh Arms and next to the Goose. The times of the 597 bus after 4pm and leading up to kick-off are 4:16pm, 4:51pm, 5:21pm and 5:51pm.

| Thanks to the Leigh fans for the information in response to my request much appreciated.
Unfortunately, I will have my 12 year old son in tow so sampling the ales at any of the locals is going to be a none starter

North Stand is all terracing.
West (main) Stand seating and you will have to sit.
South stand is seating, you will be asked to sit, but like the Leigh fans did on Sunday against Swinton its not been unknown for fans to be allowed to stand at the back.
East stand is a protected environment!

Kids will be fine in some of the pubs like the Centurion just over the canal bridge, and in Leigh East club house.

| Hi Glow
Any ideas on where we could watch the Catalan v Bradford game in Leigh before our game on Saturday ? My wife emailed LSV and they say they will not be showing the game.

The Centurion will probably have it on, as will Leigh East, they are rugby pubs/clubs.
Leigh East is on the sports village complex, don't know how you're getting there but if by road, you should arrive on site via A580 and the bypass you'll turn right at the roundabout and the stadium is then on your right, Leigh East is a few hundred yards up the road to your left immediately after the roundabout, but very limited parking up there, so if you take the second turning on your left, behind the new pub being built and the North stand, loads of parking and you can usually take a short cut through the car park, and round the pitches to get the club house. You can see it from the car park.
If by public transport The Centurion is just over the Canal Bridge, see my previous post for leaving the bus station etc.
Hope this helps

| I can't wait. Strange that it'll be only my second time on the bus (first was Wigan away in the playoffs, I'm a glory away supporter if it's over the hills) too as my usual lift is away and i just couldn't be bothered with the train (starting to get worried about how much i like taking the train) which is my fave method for travel due to the freedom.
I have been on other coaches, though and the rules are always different.
So can you eat? Drink? Be merry? Is there a toilet? Will there be stops? Is there a radio? =#FF0040Is there a TV/DVD if anyone wants to bring a classic game/season? Do we go straight in or to a pub first?
I know they may not always be the same and might be different to usual this time but please more help.

Yeah I think the bus will be making several scheduled stops on the long trip to Leigh, stopping every few hours to let people stretch their legs, that kind of thing. Also it will drop you at a local pub approx 4 hours before kick off, but will pick you up just before the final hooter - so bear that in mind. HTH

| I'd like to suggest that any Trin fans getting there under their own steam and early should target to meet up to see Bradford away at Catalans. As our kind friend from Leigh on here has suggested the Leigh East club by the LSV complex sounds like an appropriate location.
Let's all meet up there for 3pm, and enjoy the atmosphere build for what could be our biggest match for 3 years?
Also extend an open invite to our friends from Leigh who may want a rugby fix and some good humoured banter as well as the excitement we know our game can provide.
TOGETHER WE ARE STRONGER.

| Although for people who don’t know the area I would recommend Leigh East as its the nearest and simplest, just a minor word of caution, occasionally the main room could have a function on, and although there is a smaller second room that they make available, some of you may find a quick five minute walk to The Centurion a good second choice, if you ask at Leigh East they’ll point you in the right direction (its just up Etherstone street until the main road turn left and its 30 yards up that road, 5 mins away).
Also for those of you going by car, make sure you park on a car park, and not on a road way or you WILL get a ticket, the car parks are free, the main one is behind the North Stand, but there are others if you drive past the stadium towards the Park Inn hotel, you can park at the hotel, college or further round near the Sports Centre, some have moaned in the past as it can take a while to get off but they forget at some places it can take you 15 minutes or so before you even get to your car, I went somewhere once and I had to trek through a cemetery.
Hopefully you’ll all have a safe and enjoyable first trip to LSV, be interesting to hear your views next week.
Good luck.
