souths is a good shout - when i was in oz in 92, 2 souths fans really went out of their way to assist us and take us back to their club for a meal etc after the game (and we wasn't even cheering for them at the time!!)

Should be quite close then by now as when i was in shop sorting my 3 seasontickets out there were about 8 ouf us buying tickets. One of the gentlemen in there had come for 6 so thats 15 sold if the other 6 only got 1 each.

If they sold like that all day we should hit 1000 easy

I called on Thursday to order our 2. I enquired if we'd hit the 1,000 by the end of August but the lady on the phone was unsure as to how many we'd sold. Fingers crossed sales are going well. I think tomorrow (last home game) could be a good sales day, get there early!

On twitter early yesterday afternoon Andrew glover said we were 75 short of the 1,000.

Just tried renewing ours online, but after trying for half an hour, I had to give it up as a bad job to go do the school run...





I DO consider myself to be computer literate, but can't understand why I can't order all 4 of my family tickets myself. It would appear that each family member has to use their own USERNAME and PASSWORD to order them separately, or am I missing something ???

Plus on requesting that my (forgotten) password be re-sent to me, I discovered that me and the missus, both have 2 USERNAMES and PASSWORDS, and only one of the 2 kids are on there too !!

I have e-mailed the club to enquire about the "loyalty" discount link, that I am supposed to have received, and am wondering whether anyone else has had this, and if in fact there actually is any loyalty discount, or is it still £275 for a family ticket ???

Not heard anyone else mention a loyalty discount either. Do you have something in particular which allows you to qualify for a discount?

I remember some e-mail promoting the new season tickets being available as soon as they were announced and being able to be done online. However I don't remember any mention of a discount nor did I receive the prior year header (i.e. last season's first team players - Jeffries, Obst and Morrison). Since I've already renewed ours and did it over the phone with the club shop I suspect it is not relevant any more for us even if we are applicable. My season ticket renewal receipt has the number 3756 printed on it, I'd assume that will be the number we've sold? If so not a bad figure with nearly a month before the early bird offer finishes!

Nope only about 1500 sold so not good at all really.. only 5 weeks to go.

Some will wait for new signings and maybe even until the last minute before the season kicks-off. If numbers are less in Feb/Mar, then it's time to ask why. Signing up just to enter a competition wasn't going to get everyone rushing to get theirs!

correct I waited last year until the last week, this year bought them on the two month deal

I'll be getting mine next pay day.
If I get paid any earlier then I'll get my season ticket earlier.

I should think there will be a lot sold when Santa comes to town in December!

Some good signing news should hopefully bring in a few if the news is timed to coincide with monthly pay days (16th and last friday of the month seem popular).

If that's the case it seems a very random way of numbering, I'd have thought they would be sold from 0 upwards. If the numbers are working back to 0 that means our starting figure was 5256, a strange starting point.
If the figure of 1500 is correct then whilst it's low at the moment it's still early doors, the season's only just finished and I'd guess people may be waiting for next pay day, I was lucky in that I'd a little spare cash this month or I'd probably have waited for Octobers wage.

Season tickets are numbered in batches for example you could have 1 to 2,500 adult, 2501 to 3500 consessions and 3,501 to 5,000 numbered as juniors. Also take into account gold, silver and bronze and you have probably 9 different batches at differing prices.

Which are then also split between the two club shops.
