I don't think it was misleading at all! Unless i've been misled and don't know it - I assumed it was 100 quid if we sold 2500 by end of sept, then should be fail to achieve that number then you can pay the extra 75 or ask for a refund?

No tin hat required, it is appalling, and it is a major reason why the club was in such a mess over the past few years.

Thought it was just me, initially there was confusion regarding the situation if the target wasn’t achieved as it wasn’t stated, but since it has been it’s clear as day.

We are already well over half way and I have heard there is now going to be a further commercial sales push. Its only my opinion but if we get anywhere near close I think he will honour the price. I think the logistical complications and the negative PR would not be worth it for the sake of 100 tickets or so.

I think we can - the PR and marketing effort to back up the offer has been very limited; bit disappointing really.

just phoned the club shop it turns that if you go on line you can get that offer, if you take time out to go to the club shop and pay in person you don't

In 2 weeks it's a big ask to be fair. Could be close. Still think that extra £75 will see a fair chunk drop out. Hopefully that won't happen.

I don't think we have a cat in hells chance, thats not to say we should give up pushing but its sadly not going to happen, then if 20% don't renew with the extra £75 it'll scupper everything.

We need the numbers more than anything. Shame it can't be put up to meet the 250,000 target. If it's really close up it by £10. If it's a few hundred away up it by £20. Then season tickets remain at £120 through Xmas where hopefully trinity walk/ tidings will be utilised.

Far less will drop out if given the option of paying an extra £20. I would of hoped very few would.

I always thought it was going to be a tall order in the time frame, maybe if they had run it till Christmas, it would be more realistic but still we should get pretty close to it.

Think we will get close, I also think it should be extended to Xmas and by that time the 3000 Mark should be a achievable.

To be fair i'd be surprised if people end up getting asked for £75 extra irrespective of the circumstances. I just can't see how it would benefit anyone by doing that

I dont want to be seen to be poring cold water on the whole season ticket offer because I do think its a really good idea but this latest publicity idea just seems totally miss timed to me. What is the point of being in Asda next wednesday between 10 am and 4 pm, the only people at Asda between those times will be either OAPs, single mothers or people who are out of work and I dont think any of those are your target audience, why are they not there today and tomorow, then they may get some interest.

As I said - it's a good start but there is more to do, which I'm sure will happen.

You are right but do you think it may be a case of too much to do too little time to do it in with a fortnight to go ?

Personally, I think the deadline will be extended - it would be an administrative and PR nightmare to start asking people for the extra money.

Surely everyone who buys an adult ticket will be better off buying a junior one as well to make up the numbers?! Costs £20 more now but saves £55 in the long run. Could donate it to a friend/neighbour. Gets the next generation of trin fans interested and saves money. no brainer for me. I bought one for the 4yr old and he doesn't even need one yet.

It's easy to say that if you have £20 spare, but not everyone has that extra cash. I know it doesn't sound much, but it is to some.

It's also a lot easier for people to stump up £20 for something extra rather than £75 for nothing. £120 for a season ticket is still a fantastic price.
