For anyone who hasnt got an application form. Go onto the Wildcats website, scroll down to "community", then click on Club 1873 and you can download and print your own form.
Its pretty straight forward, so get signed up and lets give the RFL a headache.

Mine said the same that more were included and weren't.

There's nothing to photocopy - there weren't any forms included.

It did occur to me to download one and copy, but I don't want to be handing out amateurish looking photocopied forms on behalf of the club.

Problem solved - I'm calling in this week on some other business, so I'll grab a batch then.

We just need to collectively bang the drum as loud as possible and make as many folk as possible aware of the 1873club.

Mine arrived without any to hand out, sadly.

Not much news coming from the club about the 5000 target

Why don't the club produce a schematic of the proposed seating plan at Newmarket and then offer fans the chance to pick their reserved seat in the new stadium.

Work out which fans deserve to get priority ie.
1st choice: season ticket holder/Gold member/1873 club members
2nd Choice: season ticketholders/Silver member/1873 club member
3rd choice: season ticket holder/ Bronze member/ 1873 club member
4th choice: season ticket holder/ Gold member or Season ticket holder/1873 club member
5th choice and so on and so on

This would encourage those who are currently non members of anything to join something in order to reserve a seat or to ensure that they can sit together with their mates who have a higher degree of membership.

Would be better if we could wait till next year to do this but that's too late for the franchise enhancing membership drive.

Downloaded a form from the Club site, sorted and sent. Bit miffed that it said return to Wakefield Wildcats, with no mention of TRINITY, just hope this isn`t going to become the norm.

At the meeting a couple of weeks ago A.G. stated that
5000 members wont confirm SL licence, but without the membership we definitely wouldnt get a licence.
My understanding is that with ground improvements and 1873 club, we will be no worse than a 'B' category club and pretty close to an 'A'.

Agreed - in Ted's day, I'd have been charged for the extra forms.

Most other clubs twigged the membership wheeze a long time before we did - it should really have been done ages ago, so that box was firmly ticked come franchise decision time. Because it wasn't, we're playing catch-up.

Didn't the Dulls launch theirs when we played them at Odslum towards the end of last season? I recall it, as it was one of the worst Wakey performances in a season punctuated by bloody awful performances.

It says we've just gone past the 1000 mark, does that include, everyone that bought, bronze, silver and gold memberships as well as this club 1873 thing as well.
