I know that you cant just write last season off, but with 2010 as the exception JK has been magnificent.
The fact that he masterminded the great escape, for me, means that he can do no wrong.
Yes, we did have a poor season last year, but how much of that was down to JK.
In retrospect, we had to cash in on Brough, for reasons which became all too clear and maybe this was one of the reasons Shane Tronc decided to return home and again, nobody could have envisaged the tragic circumstances regarding Terry Newton.
Add to this the cash crisis, that was ever increasing and the low salary cap that we have to play with and then take a measure on how good he really is.

No, he didn't play well, he played okay. He took some good high balls in tough conditions, something I have pulled him down for in the past but on Sunday he look as safes as houses, even with the wind. However, he could have done more with each of the second half tries, and again he offered little in attack. In my opinion, he was also lucky to stay on the pitch as his try saving tackle appeared to be more of a try saving 'trip' to me. I've no doubt you will tell me I'm wrong as you do to so many others on here who do not share your view.

I think he did have a good game, did everything that was asked of him, didn't make a mistake and he did join the line, on a number of occasions and held Hodgson up over the line, to save a try. The 2 tries, you say, he could have done a little bit more with, I think that's being unfair. One of the tries, when he ran across and caught up to Welham, right on the line. With the angle he came from, I think it would be very hard, for him to stop him over the line, Welham had too much momentum.The other, is where there's a break down the right side and Blaymire was running and across and Green did him with some good foot work, which lets be honest happens to the best fullbacks.

I think that too, and another centre would finish off the three quarters nicely. I reckon Murphy could develop into a top full back.
