The shopping list of 2 props and a controlling scrum half now that Sam has gone must be addressed immediately or we are really going to struggle and this will not entise any of the stay away supporters.

Where are these signings going to come form? Would the club be able to attract anybody, the distinct prospect of playing championship rugby next year will not help.

Loans and one year deals are the only options. If players who are not getting a chance at their respective clubs use this season to either get a foot hold with their parent club or put themselves in the shop window so others take an interest then they will come.

If Millard goes we are probably going to need some centre cover as well.

I'd go with the McNally idea. It would do him good and Giants could just call him back.
We do need anotther prop and to be honest we could manage with Murphy and Dean in centre if Millard goes.
If it came to an outside back I'd also raid Giants second team for that lad that scored the tries against us. Can't remember his name (Johnson?)

It all depends on whether Motu Tony is anywhere near coming back and whether Gledhill is going to be back soon.....and whether Smith will ever get to play. Each one switches the priority a little bit.

Agree with mcnally and wood both looked like they could do a job in pre season game,mcnally has been waiting for a while.Also prop at wigan,ben davies,who we were linked with a season or two ago,if he is still there,won't get any time this season would't have thought.

Always think McNally looks a bit light when I have seen him, not that thats the be all and end all for a half and would think Wood would be more of a suitable target if available, also whatabout Gareth Moore? Is he still knocking about?

Moore is still at Batley but is under contract so we would have to pay a fee for him and i am not sure if we are in a position to do this yet.

Would he want to come cos,in all probability we are going into nl next year,barring miracles.It may be that loan deals are the only option at the moment.

If we're looking for forwards than we must get in touch with Wigan. They've Hock coming back this season and with Lima and Hoffman coming in and Tuson back from his loan at Cas they've an abundance of quality forwards. I'm sure they'd be more than happy to send some on loan

Ben Davies and Eamonn O'Carroll look like two who are going to struggle to get a game there. Would both be worth a shout.

If we want to take a punt on a couple of lower league signings then Gareth Moore at Batley and Chris Hill at Leigh are probably the most likely candidates to be able to make the step up.

Did he not turn us down last summer? and committed his future to batley?

Hie did sign a contract a Batley in the summer. Whether or not we were in for him is questionable.

Seems quite apt considering we'll have lost 4 or 5 players by the weekend. If i was Andrew Glover i'd either pull out or start contacting clubs regarding loaning players and get them ready for when he takes over
