As for Mr Moore; I don't think the club owes him anything and to be honest, on last seasons performance, I'd be happy to see him go.

Looks like we're favourites to sign Jarrad Hickey as a replacement for Leaeno, so another prop to replace Moore and it's as you were, with Ben Gledhill hopefully getting significantly more game time this season.

As far as consistency goes I personally feel we suffered more with the loss of Wilkes and Bibey than we will with Moore. The loss of Moore now is purely down to a numbers thing, if we sign a replacement great, if we don't then young Gledhill will be able to help fill the gap with proper rationing of game time. Moore was getting to be one of the best props in super league before the illness, but since then he has made very little impact. I hope it does all work out for him, but as previously stated the club don't owe him anything and vice versa.

If you stick to what the doctors tell you, you can live happily and healthily with Crohn's disease for years. Obviously, as an athlete that will be harder, and as an athlete who likes to go out on the pop and not take care of your body, it will be even harder. Sympathy for those who help themselves, not those who don't.

If he wants to go then its upto him. Aslong as he keeps his gob shut and shows some respect to the people who provided him with a very good living then let him go. But by the sounds of him shouting his mouth off in the pub and his run ins with team " mates " i wont hold my breath about him doin that

Moore is clearly unhappy at the club atm for whatever reason, he did his best for the club supposedly and the club in turn payed him a good wage, who knows whether he will be missed only time will tell unlike Broughy who was the star act allegedly, Moore is only in the chorus line and can be replaced a lot easier so if he is not happy like Brough well then its bye bye Richard and thanks for all you've done lets all move on and replace him with somebody that wants to play for us, why not give Gledhill more game time.

Disagree with that before his illness he was brilliant and one of our stand out players. He was one of the first chasing kicks down, made good yards and off loaded well at the right times. Sadly since his illness his game and attitude seem to have taken a nose dive and he was pretty crap for most of the season as were most of the team.

No doubt he did the things that got him noticed....but graft was never his bag. He was often standing off having a blow

I remember Richard scoring a 70 metre try at Belle Vue and his try against Cas in Cardiff, he has had his highlights but since his illness his has been no where near where he was before sadly..

Some players have a very short shelf life, some go on forever but most are average for most of their careers with the exception of a couple of years where they make their name. Moore is one of these and I think we have had the best that particular player has to offer, though I may be wrong who knows.

That said I do think his illness has had a detrimental effect on him as a player, bound to have so maybe has has been robbed of the chance to make the next level. None of this is his fault and for that reason alone you have to wish him all the best.

Should have looked after himself when diagnosed rather than go out on the pop. People deal with illness every day to keep working, and without the advantages Moore has. Sorry if that's harsh.
