New Yorkshire juniors web page now up & running . Only had a quick look - 2 weeks of fixtures on - hurrah !

and as if by magic the under 9s have vanished

when you go into fixtures in time frame press all and they come up

Under 11's - crigg 28,shaw cross 12. Cracking game , really tight early on but both teams chucked it about well with some big tackles going in . Criggs defence was probably the difference in the end , however having 4 subs makes a nice change to the other teams none . All the new lads played well again today, so it's looking like a good strong squad at the moment .

just got back from hunslet parkside where stanley u13s took a hiding 30-0,
the result didn't show the better effort that they put in and the quality of poor reffing from a young lad that, one couldn't keep up with play and two only gave one offside in the game and that was from a kick, hunslet was far the better side in defense coming up as a unit which gave us no chance in attack, hats off the lads for never stopping,

the game was marred by a spinal injury to one of our lads, with two mins to go the game was blown up early, it took an eternity for the ambulance to arrive and then couldn't find the entrance of where to go, this needs addressing,

from what I saw he seemed to be very sore and was moving his legs

Have seen this many times before, he'll hopefully be back at training next week, fingers crossed.

one of our best tacklers for his size, don't know if there is a time spell that is deem suitable for the lad to get back into it after a spinal or head injury,
this incident happened trying to get over the line and 3-4 bigger sized lads muscled up to keep him back,

got a text telling me after an xray the lad has been allowed to go home but is very sore,

not nice to go through this procedure but you have to be careful and thanks go to the paramedics doctors and nurse that I have a very high admiration for anyway

That sounds ok then ( touchwood !)- heard this afternoon that one of our lads has broken his ankle this morning & all he was doing was making a tackle !
Just hope it doesn't put him off the game & he doesn't pack in because he loves playing - can see pressure from mum though

Must be a jinx on today - the East Leeds lads were dropping like flies against Stanley U12's; at one point, they had three down in different parts of the field.

cas panthers u11s went down 12-6 away at eastmoor in a tight game,both teams defended well and it was a good advert for junior rugby with both sides moving the ball around well.

westgate under 16s 6 Elland 6. defence on top for both teams, good game and my lad picking up the man of the match award

Stanley under 11's beat Dewsbury Celtic 26 -14 give or take a two pointer.

ill take another 2 , is it me but the older you the younger policemen look and the fatter and more obnoxious the referees get. mind you the chuckle brothers were good entertainment

after keeping Oulton to a 4-0 lead at half time the team then lost the plot and allowed them to rack up a big score, I think it ended up 38 -0, the slope does help a good side

we are finding it harder in the div 1 but do put in some better spells

Oulton was a far better team than Hunslet Parkside last week and think that they can put up a good challenge to the dominance that they hold at age level
