Kear said on radio leeds that he was sent off for foul and abusive language iirc...however, i hope what you have heard is true...if he has been sent off for dissent, presumably after several other incidents of such during the game, i would hope that a warning/sending of sufficient verdict would be passed, however, we are speaking about danny brough, a well known hot head/ildisciplined player, playing for an unfashionable club in wakefield who are having a good season....imo the RFL would take great pleasure in banning our star man for a lengthy period of time.

I'm not sure if that's correct though. He's obviously going to get a ban but with it being us and with him already havng been warned I fear it could cover any playoff matches we'd be involved in too.

Danny had a great game yesterday, he was really fired up all game. It must be hard to control your feelings when a jumped up ex-linesman is giving it the big ‘I am’.

Do you think Brough got sent off just for questioning a decision? A straight red indicates it was foul/abusive and I'm guessing if Demetriou questioned the officials in a similar manner you could expect the same outcome.

No mention of any other Wakefield players being charged this week.

What if Brough claims he deliberately aimed an insult at the touch judge but unintentionally aimed for his ears therefore it was accidental? Might see him get off with a warning letter/formal caution.

Just Danny charged, all others let off / on field penalty sufficient.

At the very least we will be without him for friday but due to his past record he will probably get more than one match.

Yeah i heard that too as im sure many young kids may have done too! This just shows how inconsistent these decisions are. There is video proof of this but it gets ignored

Again I think it the manner in which is spoken, if its exasperation then I think quite rightly the benefit of the doubt should be given. We are not all saints who utter fiddlesticks when we’re frustrated. However, if it aimed at an official and is meant to be derogatory then quite rightly that player should see red.

I think he'll get minimum of two games and £500 fine! we'll be without him for the 2 vital games that are going to effectivly decide if we get a home play off game or not!!!! typical !!!!

He hasn't been banned, but 3 incidents involving him for this match alone were flagged up to the panel. Yes 2 have been dismissed as penalty sufficient but could these be the "mitigating circumstances" the rfl bang on about making a ban longer than the one usually given? Bearing in mind he has already been formally warned about foul and abusive language this season.
