I don't understand it. i would have though esp with the Atkins story breaking we would have needed it out to lift things for everyone.
Unless something is in the pipeline? TRB any info?

There are 3 names mentioned who have signed but their details have not been released - for whatever reason - but not the big headline ones you have mentioned.

I really am at a loss in all this. I know we want some better players - all clubs do - and I know we want players who want to be with us, but I am really disappointed with the time all this is taken and the number of players choosing to be elsewhere.

Last year was the first time we have had stability - now we've gone right back to changing half the squad again - it's just not right and doesn't allow anyone to keep favourites.

There - I've said it - I DON'T agree with the recruitment policy for next year. We had Ollie gagging for a contract in April - and now it looks as if we've lost him. Disappointed TBH and I think it will hurt us in our run-in!

Typical Wakefield I suppose. We seem to have a 'lets wait and see what happens' attitude rather than a go get them attitude.

External transfers- couldn't be happier with- all 3 are quality, just need a SO, and Winger to finish it off.

Internally- beginning to side with you on this mate, OW + the false info on snitch's deal, the situation is typical of a team waiting to find out if it survives the looming relegation run not leave the 6 and move into the top 4. But to do that we needed to build on what we had going with quality signings not lose 2 real stars because we hadn't the foresight to sign them when they wanted earlier, tbf when they were playing out of their skins.

Surely it depends who leaves as to where we need to recruit?

yeah that was meant on the basis we keep OW,SS, who are due OOC at the end of the season, who i feel are key components of our squad.- a perfect world scenario if you will. Although i think in the long run our youth system is strong enough to cope with this potential loss it would need us to sign someone like Boyle from Cas to cover it in the short term.

RA & DB are still under contract but i feel we should give them the chance to reaffirm their loyalties, and pardon the pun, keep the wolves from the door.

What about Blaymire? Grix? Still baffled that Snitch is OOC.

i know it was obvious pre-season if i can recall we said he looked like he was going to go well. the extension should have been a boxing day present if you ask me.

I thought he'd signed for 2 anyway?

What about the others who are OOC not sure who's signed and who hasn't due to all the rumours?
