I didnt feel the need to state the financial ramifications snitch would face, and the fee for a player with only 1 year on his contract wouldnt be that great. And as we've seen with ferres et al. If a player dosent want to be here then more often than not he'll get his own way.

But Khlav Kalash does make a good point, if he didnt go when leeds where sniffing then I cant see him going at the end of the year I hope not anyway.

The only reason for being annoyed with the Morrison signing would be if we hadn't offered Snitch a new contract. We have.

Thats what I am implying i.e. hudds sign another forward and therefore they will most likely want to offload a forward increasing our chances of signing him as hudds will be willing to let him go.

You can't nail them down - if they want to stay, they stay, if they don't, then they go. Nothing suggests that we haven't made an offer - and, afaik, we don't have an answer yet. Read what you will into that!

Fantastic signing but see steve snitch thread.

cant understand why snitch would want to leave us for cas(no disrepect to cas)but the way he as played this season i would have thought a bigger club would have come calling.with the capture of morrison snitch will not be missed though

He will be missed (for more the one year) but as ever players come and go and the club will live on without them.

Don’t want to seem sour about a potential move but I think Cas throw money about a bit more then Trinity. I f he does move it more then likely will be because they will have offered him a sizeable contract. I’ve seen nothing to suggest he is unhappy at Wakefield and has a regular starting spot so I think monetary terms may be the reason he moves on.

Much as I rate Morrison and would like him in the team....

if we had the choice (and I realise it doesn't always work that way) I'd rather keep Snitch for a long term than Morrison on the short term.

Snitch has been a revelation this season. Maybe he has just priced himself out of our budget by playing so well but it's a shame if true.

Thought he'd another year of his contract to run?
