Much as I don't want to see Halley leave, I like him personally, though for some reason his face doesn't fit at Odsal.

If McNamara were to release him I would only be happy if we did a straight swap for Ryan Atkins, should never have let himleave in the first place. We need a centre more than a winger, so happy days, let's swap!

Peterson for me would have to fight his way back into the side. This can only happen if Trinity have competition for places.

I would like to see dave halley get an extension on his loan at belle vue , he seems to be a valued member of the squad who enjoys playing alongside his team mates & seems to have a happy rapport with the supporters & the fans like him too, & lets face it at trinity you dont have to be the worlds best to get respect just to give 100% week in week out & thats exactly what hes doing at the moment.

Extend his loan until the end of the season or even better get him signed up permanently. Peter Fox left because we didn't give him the contract his talent deserved, please BOD don't let this lad pass us by.

if he has to go back then so be it, but he's does have a chance of a first team place where as at the bulls will back in the reserves until an injury to main stay

Don't want to start anything big here but my view is with reflection (and it pains me to say it) HKR saw his potential and payed the big bucks he would ultimately command. Showing the faith in him and showing you aim to match him for ambition. Again i'm not saying we don't have ambition we just let this one slip.

No doubt the lads a good player but they offered more than we could afford and he went, all down to what we have thats all.

Why he never looked like making the step to the first team.

I can't comment on Halley's performances personally since I've not been to the matches yet (he sounds like a good 'un on the radio though

) but surely Kear's focus at the minute is to try to secure some kind of relief half back for the immediate future?

You really arn't letting it drop. Wehave plenty of wingers all as good as Fox. A lesson in RL, wingers don't win games forwards do. We had a choice, pay Fox more or pay Moore more (no pun). I know who was more vital last year.

Fox is a decent player but he is not spectacular, no better than Blanch and may well not have the potential of George. We also have Murphy and Peterson - Fox is no longer an issue.

I'd like to keep Haley but the price has to be right and I wouldn't break the bank for him - I might for a prop.

Bide your time and get him for nowt at the end of the season. He obviously doesn't figure in McNamara's plans and the lad seems disillusioned at the Bulls. Everyone's happy!

Without being controversial McNamara might not be at the bulls come the end of the season.

Always impressed me at Bradford, never seems to have fallen into the "young player making mistakes" trap.
