No doubt it will be like Hull FC, when a new company was formed, they dropped the name Sharks (not sure if it was the same with Halifax Blue Sox or not), leave off the suffix and it doesn't matter whether the wildcats bit is dropped or not.

Trinity is what we have been always. Wildcats isn't that popular other than with the kids.

The logo in all of your avatars looks WAY better than the one one the website; much more modern and forward looking. If it were me, I'd get it changed over quick, before any recognition develops.

Why all the winking - something in your eye(s)?

That was our first attempt which was pretty good but we liked the one we are using better. Modern but I like the 1873 so we never forget our history.

Also I dont think we have dropped the "Wildcats" tag. I can see the marketing potential but the Club will always be WAKEFIELD TRINITY to me.

Put the '1873' on the underside and you're on to a winner for a new club badge

On the actual badge the fleur du lys is prominant with the 1873 lighter behind but its not coming out like it on the avatars. I guess the techies will change this.

We are attending a meeting of Supporters Trusts next week which will allow us to mix with others who have walked the same path that we are currently undertaking. Their insight into the process and their advice will be invaluable to us as we take the next important steps forward.

Your offer of help is also gratefully received and I'm sure that if or when the time comes we will happily speak with your Trust reps and take any advice you might offer.
