We have five players who can competently play on the wing, the fact that most of them are injured is irrelevant, we are not talking about this week or next, we are talking about building a competitive team for the future and IMO we should be building a team around him not shipping him out at the first opportunity, I assume that you have been a Wakey fan for some years, and as such would be very naive to believe that any money received for the sale of Brough would be spent on team building.

There is a young lad at Whitehaven called McNally, i believe the Giants have his full time contract, this lad is really a talent, only really young but a definite red hot prospect. If Shuddes want DB so badly and he wants to go then there is nothing we or the club can do. Only to say "Thank you and goodbye".... However having the franchise system we could really turn this lad from a current NL1 star into something much bigger without the pressure of relegation, having said that some of our fans would rip Lockyer to bits....

Surely some ground for complaint is in order here. You can't possibly go round declaring your interest in a player that still is half way through his 3 year contract. Especially not the way it's been done via the press on several occasions. It’s clearly unsettling to club and the player. I mean are we going to keep having this all year?
