Far, far too many things wrong today - in no particular order:

Trying to thrown he ball about in blustery conditions (wonder passes by Cookey for 1)
Poor ball retention and poor completion rate (see above)
Terrible discipline, often at key times
Failure to capitalise on a good position (3 sets on the bounce in the first half)
Complete lack of penetrative runners and lines (as posted by bigstuff on the other, run at spaces, not faces)
Zero organisation from Cookey or BJ (Make your mind up who is playing what roll and then at least try to do it)
Leano looks very powerful but grossly unfit
Non existent kicking game in all aspects including kick offs. Watch the video on how Dobson kicked off,
We kick for Millard and end up with a score in the first half, did try a second time?
Inability of our 3/4 and full back to count
Inability to realize that all we had to do for the first hour was to close Dobson down not let him play in a dinner suit.
Mental collapse at just before half time letting them score. Tries either side of half time ruined any chance we had.

Ditto - I came today for the first time in a few games (times is hard) - and to be honest every time I try and get back into it I just end up wishing I had saved me money.

I'v followed em home and away since 96 and this is the first season I'v ever felt like I was bein ripped off - especially with the price increases. - Its like constantly having the same feeling I had about 15 mins into the cup game at Doncaster.

All the Hull, Leeds and Huddersfield players were at the races ...Leeds and Hull still won.

We lost Danny Brough, Shane Tronc & Terry Newton and these have not been replaced ..we had the money at the start of the season to pay their contracts and we have not replaced them so are losing and crowds getting smaller and revenue decreasing...we lack go forward / spark. I feel with the exception of Obst today was our best team , put Sam back in team when fit and send Cooke back to Hull

How did Charlie Leano go ?

He's big, strong, slow and desperately unfit; clearly blowing out of his ar5e after every passage of play that he's involved in.

Made a great run with players hanging off him, just doesn't look fit enough.

I have to agree with the sentiment - it leaves a sour taste in my mouth that the players have been ting about with bloody stupid strip shows and pantomimes whilst our club goes down the ter. If it's such a great team bonding exercise, when exactly will that start to pay dividends?!

I wouldn't deny the bloke his testimonial, but the timing couldn't be worse.

We were, yet again, utter garbage today, very few positives.
Rinaldi looked good and tbh would not have brought Latu on when we did.
King / Morro / Kirmond OK. Rest rubbish.
So thats 46 conceded in both of last 2 home games.

No it isn't; my point was about the timing of this panto after such a pathetic performance today, but what the heck - don't let reality get in the way of a good rant.

Gledhill is fit again and played well for the 21's although used sparingly. When he came back on for the last ten minutes he turned the game back in Wakeys favour. He chivvied everyone up and led from the front.

I think its time to give him another shot!

Just watched the ‘highlights' on the Super league website and the last HKR try is a real shocker. It looked bad at the match but it looked even worse on TV.

It's no concern of mine what the Hull, Leeds or Huddersfield players get up to my only concern is what may affect the performance of wakey players.



We are told there is no money and I believe that but I'd like to know where it's gone. As you say we had the money for the 3 players mentioned above and the money to offer Brough a huge contract all I can say is Kear must have got his mate Cooke a decent wage.

Maybe so, but 1 win in 13 or whatever it is and the 'morale boost' from stripping and acting hasn't done too much for the results has it. I can fully understand anyone blaming anything when no-one knows what is wrong.
