I've been watching Trinity for the thick end of 60 years,and I've seen some poor referee's. I have a great deal of sympathy for them as they will improve with time gaining experience, but learning on the job in the games top division seems wrong.I don't think any referee is a cheat, when you see a game as a neutral they rarely get get decisions wrong. My problem with referee's is not decisions they give, it's the one's they choose not to give or ignore .

If I had to put money on who stays up, it would be you, thought we were poor today and still won comfy. Some of Cas defending was appealing and looked loose it attack..Westerman was good, but apart from maybe Broadbent I though there was really poor.

I think their signings are a bit disappointing to say the least. Especially to who they was rumoured for 'Iro'.

Well yes and no. Clearly they've done well building a successful team but I'd like us to that while including our own developed players rather than buying a whole new team.

But I think you would be happy if it was us, I would.

I find it hard but I agree with PT because Leigh do not operate like the majority of SL clubs because they have invested all their money on the first team by not operating a reserves for example. It should be a level playing field in SL that is you must run teams below the first and not just say you will and then postpone all fixtures because you can’t raise a team.

The Academy isn’t funded by the club, that’s a purposeful myth put forward by those for whom it suits if fans believe it to be so.

The Academy is funded by a lump sum payment from the RFL, bolstered by further kickbacks for Academy graduates becoming Super League squad members and further funded by annual payments from College for each Academy player who completes his course.

Clubs then had to match that funding, which didn't include player wages. Finney estimated that Widnes' academy was costing around £450,000 a year to run.

No. Lachlan lam is a quality player, but 200k a year will get you that won’t it. Ipape is quality and Leigh got him for a steal at 60k a year, though no surprise he’s off back to the NRL. Asiata also possibly going back. Think that sums up how good that team is this year.

It's a pity trinity haven't built slowly over the last 8 years poptart.

They’ve spent big and gone for it. Shows you the poor standard of RL at the moment particularly the so called big clubs. Heard we will be in a position to spend big so we might have that luxury plus an already made academy system.
