We had a chat in the bar after the show (the Torquay game kicked off at midday that day so she couldn't get to the match) and she said her 'love' of rugby league was just because St Helens were named after her, other than that her knowledge was limited - most comments about it were just to wind up co presenter Tim Lovejoy'"
Quite right kyassor....
For the benefit of Vasty and anybody else - I am a gentleman...
Her knowledge of RL has improved then - I chatted to her about it when I was at Plainmoor (Torquay's Ground) and she said that she had learned to enjoy it.....
Even asked her about coming to Belle Vue!

| Also, whilst in the shop today, Daz said that they will be launching a "legends" shirt and also as a t-shirt.
As per my avatar pic, with the No.13 on the back and on the sleeves with "Price" above the 13.
Think it will be a cracker and sell well!

Strangely enough whenever I see that shirt on your avatar I instantly picture Ray Price. Still find it hard to believe that he was actually a Trinity player.

The two similar British Coal era shirts are probably my least favourite of all time ever.

No seriously. I just never like that half covered front. I suppose it was one of the first shirts that didn't follow the traditional Trinity design so maybe that upset me at the time?

There were two versions of that Bukta strip and the first version was a bit of a dog, but on the second version they tidied it up with a proper blu V collar and it looked a lot better.
The next one, the YCup winning one was a belter, mainly because by the standards of the early nineties it was almost tasteful.

Like you mate, I never took to the first British Coal shirt purely because I was gutted we’d moved away from the traditional strip.

| Does anyone know what the fittings for the new shirts are like at all, please? The reason I ask is because I bought last season's away shirt in sale mid-August in a 3XL thinking it would be baggy and unfortunately it clings to my gut!

It's still Hummel so I would 'presume' (dangerous) that the sizing would be the same as last year.
Best thing to do is to ring the shop on 01924 211 611 - Option 1 or email: tickets@wakefieldtrinity.com and ask for Daz.
When ISC supplied the shirts and training gear, I was large. Last year......I had to go XL as the Hummel stuff is more fitting (that's the official line anyway!)
I mean.......we're all getting a little bit bigger with old age and after lockdown..........aren't we?

Fluke guess!
With the new range of training gear in the shop, are we guessing the away shirt could be either navy blue OR Turquoise?

| All things considered I don’t think that’s a bad squad. We have one quota spot left, if we can fill that with a quality player, probably a forward we should be OK.
Bowes, Aydin, Croft are not inexperienced kids anymore so there is some depth.
Re-signing Hampshire would be a nice bonus. Be interesting to see how WP uses him, he did play in the halves with far more confidence in the last few games.

Hey, Mary. Thanks for the reply. Just seen it tbh.
Yes, I was thinking that if it is Hummel, I'd be better either going a size bigger or stop being a fatso haha.
What material is the new shirt? Is it that tight stuff that is only applicable to a Rugby player, or is it different?
