| Well said DJCool.
Hope TJ OK but Mason deserves to keep his place after that.
My apologies there Daddycool when we spoke if some of my points were a bit blunt when we had a chat before the game.

| Well, after all the hype about Bird and Catalan close to full strength, I was expecting a difficult game and wasn't too sure if we would win.
Catalan and Bird (grubbiest player to come to BV this season) were ordinary and but for our own howling errors would have been awful,
Having said that, defensively, we really stood up, especially losing Johnstone and later on England.
Possibly our best defensive effort of the season.
BJB was sublime and seems to really enjoy playing Les Cats, and his finish in the right corner was unbelievable.
Hirst and Huby we also excellent and Fifita did big, big, minutes.
A great effort from all and an excellent 2 points, which sets us up for the up coming games.
One area which was disappointing, was the lack of bal control and discipline when the game was won and we probably should have been looking at 40+ points against them, although, 30 - 10 was way better than expected before the game.

| Great win despite a poor first half.
Greg Bird - what a fat waster ... utterly disgusting tactics from him, esp near the end on James
Bachelor.
Catalans got what they deserved today. Zilch.

Not for me TJ is better but I don't think a break will do him any harm - I think all three wingers have been great so it's very marginal as to who you go for.
Also think Lyne and Arundel are really finding there feet.
Where we are struggling is hooker. Wood is great but struggles to do 80 mins with no obvious replacement.
If we invest it needs to be a nine for me.

Kimo injured during the week, hence why Jordan was 18th man. Whoever said that Greg Bird was up there with the best needs to give their head a good shake, a vile dirty has been, cheap shots in nearly all the tackles he was involved.

| Agree Big Lads Mate. Looks more like a porno star with that tash rather than a rugby player. Good to see Batch though not taking a backward step.
Can see Catalan gdtting sucked into midlle 8 battle. Out of curiosity are they still exempt from relegation should middle 8s happen for them

| "..................Great win despite first a poor first half"
Rugby League is about attack and defence Wildthing, and the first half was one of the finest shows of defence that I've seen from a Trinity side for some time.
The three-quarters were superb today and a special mention for Miller.
Nice to see that Lynne was at the heels of BJB all the way for that break away try.
Great show today lads!!!

Agree, once we got the first 20 minutes of brain farts out of the way there was only one winner

| Great win after a very poor start, A special mention for Ben Jones Bishop he's mean fantastic this season top quality, Hope we tie him down to a long term contract like TJ.
How the hell did we lose lose those 4 games Hull/Hudds/Wigan/Wire just show's how far we have come we could have been top of league by now but certain experts have had us down to finish bottom er

| To be fair to Bird he was a dirty cheap shot merchant when in his prime. He hasn't change just because he is coming to end of career.
I think he is actually still pretty good but his grub attitude took over when he was blowing and the team were getting beaten.

Good point - we were also playing the ref for much of the forget half. Catalan had the chance to score a boat load in the first twenty but despite our bumbling attack our defence was first class - and that is how you win games when it really matters.

True, poor in attack but solid in defence. All in all a great win though.

It looked blatant where I was stood too but the players and fans didn't make much of a fuss?

A few players had a word but to no avail. Also amazing how we get pulled for 2 forwards passes that would have led to tries at least one of which looked fine

Arundel sparked our recovery today with a busting run after 20+ minutes of mediocrity. A nine is top of the list definitely, but who? What's Moules(?) like? His distribution from dummy half looked crisp from memory

| Brad is of similar size/style as Wood, I think we need a mcshane/Mcloram build hooker, Bird took ever run at wood today and in the last few game she he's been targeted, we need to impose some presence in that position (taking nothing away from wood who has stood up in defence, but there is only so many battering you can take)
