| Wait till you get to Uni, then you will be paying for everything other than council tax! (Including dentist/doctors ect) Despite being in full time education. When I was at college I worked any job I could, and have worked since I was 13 to pay for things like Season Tickets ect. ATEOTD you should be working if you want to afford such luxuries such as Rugby matches. Not being funny but just because you are young doesn't mean you should have special exemptions, the club runs on a tight budget and by the time someone is 16 their heart is either in the club or not and money doesn't matter to the individual any longer. The club runs on a watertight budget and at £6-odd a game is a bargain. Don't mean to be patronising but thats how these things work IMO.

Under 16's in the majority cant get part time jobs and don't receive ema.
College Students do in the main receive ema and you should be working a part time job it'll help you when looking for jobs later in life.
I've paid these prices and i've paid for away tickets too; it is doable and all students throughout the country pay the same prices for rugby tickets.
A shirt get it for x-mas.
Your talking nonsense and you need to budget your money.

| I can understand the argument about student prices but at 95 quid it's a steal for me. As for the point about fitting it around college work, get a weekend job. May only be part-time 7 hrs a week but that's still 32 quid a week roughly on minimum wage. You can always do extra hours during holidays. Just send your CV out to local businesses or even better, go in personally. A lot of stores will be looking at getting temp staff in now for Xmas.

| The difference in pricing between a 15 years olds ticket and a 16 year olds ticket is simple.
A 15yo is a minor and needs to have an adult supervising them - therefore the club also sell a adult ticket which subsidises the cost.
A 16 yo is not a minor and can attend on their own.

| My sister attended Medical school ( cow got the looks and the brains) she worked 3 nights in a local Restaurant to get some cash. The student who needs to do 5 hours extra per subject is telling porkies, if my sister can qualify as a medical doctor on 10 hours extra revision in total per 7 day week, and still get a bar and waitress job, then so can anyone. The demands in that degree are higher than any other.

A 'child' can get married and have sex legally at 16.
The irony meter is in overdrive here. We have some of the same posters lambasting the club for a £95 per season ticket on here and on another thread calling the club incompetent for not being able to pay the tax bill.
This is your challenge - do you want a club or not, if so, how much.
£95.00 for 14 (inc cup game) x 1.5hrs = 21 hours of entertainment = less than £5.00 per hour. There are few 'amusements' which would come as cheap as that.

| I am a student at leeds uni and i also work 12 hours a week in a shop to fund myself and have extra money for things like rugby matches. I dont buy a student ticket because i can't guarentee that i will get to enough home games to make it cheeper than buying individual tickets (£10 for a student if bought before game day) due to the fact that i often work sundays.
In my opinion £95 is a bargain and if i could gurentee i wouldn't be working sundays then i deffinatly would get a season ticket.
As for travelling to away games, i try and get to as many as possible depending on work commitments. I drive tl them so i have petrol to pay for aswell as my ticket which i have found for a student range from £10 to £14 for a student meaning that we have the cheepest student tickets. This shows that it clerly is affordable for a student to get to both home and away games and if you don't drive then the WISCA bus is a relitivly cheep way tgo get to away games.
To conclude my post i am going to say that students, of which i am one, should stop moaning about the cost of tickets and take advantage of the reduced prices while they can.

I was at Headingley Uni at the time and it was a special offer for their students.

by saying this you are presuming young fans are just wanting to drink, when some of us actually just wana go watch the match and support the team.
Whether students or not we care about the club, but were not mugs and we can tell when were being ripped off.
95 pounds for just home matches, when even though were students we may not have an income of our own, is stupid.
The club is meant to bring in the young and keep them, not fob them off as soon as they can.
and before anyone says "if you dont like it, dont bother" that kind of attitude stinks because theyre shouldnt be that kind of rift between fans.'"
£6.80 a game is more than fair, even if we are cr-p at the moment
try paying £21 at hull
put it in perspective... youve had a good ride with the cheap tickets, no your nearly an adult... pay your way
wish i only paid £95 for mine... not £180

| i am a student myself and have lived in huddersfield for past 3 years over at uni, i can sort of sympathise with the original comment but it is a catch 22 situation. I honestly think if we had a good season and finished in top 5 again we wouldnt complain about prices specially if we were watching good performances and exciting matches, but when the price of a ticket goes up and then the level of performance goes down thats when we start to complain. At one point near the end of my course i had no time for a part time job n i had little money and i remember spending the last £12 i had one week on the celtic game at home this season and i left thinking what a waste of money that was the worst match i had seen for a few years. If the overall performance of a team goes this bad over a season then i think ticket prices (students and adults and concessions) shud be reduced to at least entice more people to the matches. i think £20 for an adult ticket puts a few wakefielders off going

Therefore you are entitled to EMA which is worth up to £30 a week, and it’s paid straight into your bank account!

| It's all about needs and wants, you need a season ticket, new shirt, transport.
I want a season ticket (well perhaps not after this season!!) want a new shirt etc.
I can't afford to have everything so I pay on the gate when I go, try and blah some cheap rickets when I can, where a 3yr old shirt (not a 3 yr olds shirt!!) and the difference is I'm paying for it.
No disrespect to you as I don't know your situation, but most teenagers need everything because they aren't having to cough up, bit when they get to your age and you say earn some! Take some responsibility, it's ooh this isn't fare.
The reality is it only gets unfairer as you get older (although much more of a laugh!!) so go out and get a bit of work to help subsidise doing something you love.
Do well in your studies get a good job and then you can afford everything I can't.

I saw a thing on the telly about theme parks in the summer holidays saying that some of those start charging adult prices for 12 year olds, now that is shocking. Seeing as watching Trinity is often like a rollercoaster you should enjoy as you are saving a fortune is £30 odd quid into Alton Towers...
