Clearly what he needs to do is skip a bit when he gets the ball and act like a bit of a nutcase...

I don't really know what more you expect from Bibey. He makes his yards and does a good stint in defence. To bag him in an attempt to big up Latu is strange to say the least.

Nope not doing that at all in fact I have often stuck up for Bibey as I think he is better than what he gets credit for.
Just sometimes he sops when if he kept pumping his legs he would make some more metres.

| I am getting sick and tired of people 'slating' the players that don't happen to be their favourites on here - to the point of abusiveness.
The name calling and personal attacks are quite disturbing - and from some of the posters who should no better.
None of us are so without blame in our lives that we have the authority to publicly berate those who at worst have been punished and deservedly so fot their actions, or at best have just failed to perform to an anticipated level.
It's stupid, childish, petty and potentially damaging to the individuals, their friends and families and the people who own this site.
Can we get back to talking about Rugby League please - cos I'm at running out of time and patience!

Whats the difference fool?
If your running a line that you've practised in training... Can't choose who your running into... Taking Feka at full pace is stupid if you don't have two 20 stoners backing you up!
Might look like I'm just wanting an argument but I'm thinking Latu is getting some unfair stick just as Peterson was...

No - not you this time!
Opinions I am happy to exchange - but this forum is not here for people to take cheap shots against anyone - players / past players / coaches or even fellow posters. The rule is - if you would be upset if it was written about you - don't write it!

I do agree, some stuff on here is a bit OTT and I do know that some players read the forum and I guess it will hurt them a little. Let's not forget the Oli Wilkes in France asking after a certain poster........

I have noticed that the board is dull after a win, as if people are gutted that there is nothing to moan about.
As for Bibey, isn't it the case that props are often told to stop and hit the deck so that they can play the ball quickly and get the side on a roll? The off-loaders like Moore and Solomona will want to spend a few more seconds wriggling around, but players like Bibey just needs to make a quick ten, tire the defence by them having to hit him, and then play the ball as quickly as possible. Pumping his legs for a few more seconds just gives the defence time to set itself. Guisset used to throw himself to the floor at the first contact when he was at Wigan, and tactics like that is maybe why they brought in the 'surrender' thing.

Indeed. Also I remember a few years back playing Hudds when Griffin and Korki were our props and them getting driven back several yards at each tackle through not hitting the deck quickly enough.

You have summed up perfectly what a prop shoud do to be effective and highlighted to the more gullible the type of pantomome prop that they seem to swoon over.
Bibey and Stosic are IMHO more effective props on a game by game basis than Korki, Sculthorpe and Moore will ever be. That's not to say they don't have their place, they do, it would be a dull game without them. However without the more methodical props we'd be lucky to win a game.
Now can you please explain to the less well versed out there that although not a world beater due to a lack of genuine pace Blaymire is a perfect example of the art of playing fullback. And although there are better none of them would play for us and we should count our blessings.

The saying of the moment from the Sky 'experts' seems to be "knees and elbows", started I believe by Cullen on BnA, getting a quick PTB gets more yards eventually - even if through penalties.

Indeed, he generally knows his stuff but then he should do given his involvement in the game. I have no idea why he has a blind spot for this lad but then no one is always right no matter what there level of expertise might be.

| Surely the main assets of a fullback are defencesive positional play ,reading the opponents attack, effective one on one tackling and taking the ball on the full without thinking about it. If he has pace to join the attacking line then you have a world class player like Lockyear. Personally I feel Blaymire's attacking play is his main strength but he his weak in other departments.
