Think your right Brayton tbh - the ref made mistakes, but I thought it evened itself out in the end ( even though it was young spongebob who looked like he'd score !) , but you can't charge at a penalty kick ..end of. The lads , coaches will have learned loads from this game and for their first game playing full rules every single one of them should be congratulated IMO ( hope the stanley & lock lane supporters that were watching enjoyed it too !)- fantastic game .

sorry mate read it again , its tongue in cheek at how we all miss what our lads do and just see what the others do . i end by saying what am i on about .... these kid refs do so tbf without touch judges in goals video refs alike . all the lads put in a huge effort 16-16 was a great result .mutley reprimanded

This used to be a useful thread for catching up on the results of local junior games; since someone started using it to air their inter-club dirty laundry however, it's become a bit of an embarassment.

Crigg under 11's lost tonight against Lock Lane away . No excuses, beaten by a far hungrier team . Think some of our lads just seem to win a big game and then think that's that , we're the greatest - not like that though this game & with the quality of the teams in this division there's never going to be an easy game .They looked far more up for it from the off but we came back well and it was level at HT , the second half was v.poor from us defensively and after Lock Lane had a good lead they defended really well as Crigg came back into it so well done fellas


Anyway ,that's that for this year for us thank god - a summer of golf ahead !
Whoever wins anything next year will fully deserve it , the standard of rugby this year has been fantastic .

Yes , that's ok mutts - but you're in the lucky position of being able to just turn up , watch you're son play & go home . Others however have to run the team , clean kit , raise funds , Organise kitchen rota's ,someone to openthe club , arrange games +ref,stand at the side of the pitch in an oversized orange bib and could do without the animosity created before & after a game with stuff like you wrote the other day after a fantastic game , have their wife coming home in tears again & again because the dictators of the club seem to think that she wants to throw a spanner into the works of the workings of the club when in reallity she's wanting the best for the kids .
Sorry that's turned into a little rant , but I'm completely wazzed off with the whole thing at the moment ( & I've had a half) . Wish young sponge would pack in & play something else at the mo sorry to say .
As an aside ,does anyone know what the situation would be if an entire team wanted to move somewhere else to form another team ? Is it allowed ??

you need to dish more out mate, i know about the crap wrote the other day i guess these so much water under that bridge it just about douses out the flames that are burning . we used to get along a lot better you know. yes a full team can effectively fold if we all agree but i think this is something more for of the board than on it as last time i went to stanley with holly n milo 2 under 9s 3 under 11s and a under 12 didnt go down to well

sorry guys but due to a flaw and the fact it appears that its dawned on plp that they can open bogus accounts , hide behind identities and try to stir up controversy between dads then as from now up until further notice the local events will be removed from the board. the pathetic attempt from the newly formed bent nose to goad reaction as highlighted the mine field we walk .

i will be discussing this with fellow mods in due course.
