I was prepared to give Mash plenty of chances early on but it's now clear he was not ready for the job. In all fairness to him, he was handed a poison chalice with the rubbish squad he had. No coach could get much out of this year's bunch ,as they say you can't make a silk purse out of a sows ear. In the case of Mash you also have to point the finger at Carter and the board because the squad he was given was a massive pigs lug hole.

We've been hanging on for 4 years and to start the season with the squad that we had was a suicide mission, giving Appplegarth no hope of success.
However, despite the short run of home wins, all confidence has disappeared (again) and we look doomed.

If HKR are assured of being in the 6 before they play you in the final game they could play the reserves against you to rest players for the play offs. They did it pre Wembley.
