| This club is still alive and just about kicking thanks to the loyalty and generosity of all the supporters who sacrificed their season ticket money this year, myself being one. When added all up it will have been a considerable sum. I did not expect anything back, but neither did I expect to be witnessing such dismal performances. If I could ask for one thing it return it would be for the CEO or the Chairman to make some form of public statement to reassure supporters that they are making real positive steps to address this alarming slump in form. If they are willing to stick by Chester, I would like to hear their reasons why.
However all we get is silence. Some of you may know me. I have been watching and supporting this club longer than most . I will continue to follow its progress but without a significant change to the coaching set up thats it, till things drastically alter. No more season ticket from me if we go into next season with this same coaching and conditioning department. I also talk to quite a few other loyal long time supporters and many are also saying they have had enough.
We have been thrown a small scrap of hope with the signing of Willie Poaching but in my mind the problems are so deep, his appointment will not be enough. I just hope the Directors have the guts to do the right thing and I know these things are difficult. However, if this farce continues the club is finished in SL and there will be no way back.

CC had every excuse last year, it was a nightmare season that some are simply choosing to forget.
Now though he has far less in the way of mitigation, now it is obvious that his future is on the edge, it most certainly wasn’t last September.'"
We were on the cusp of relegation. Try and wash it away with whatever excuses you want, but the reality is that we were barely good enough to survive in Super league last season and we've gone backwards since.

No-one is washing it away - posters on here can see there were mitigating circumstances last year - apart from you obviously.....
For the record, even if we had lost v London, we wouldn't have gone down.

The point last season that conviced me the bloke was not up to it was the second game away at London. After the total embarassment with a full side in the first match
I thought, well these things happen. Newly promoted team making their mark and giving it all, plus complacency from us, these things happen in sport.
However second game and every decent coach would target the game to make sure it never happened again. However the first defeat could be excused, the second was just rank bad prepartation. You see it time after time in his post match interviews. He is quick to find excuses and point out ways we are at fault, but he fails to offer any solutions.

| I feel for Chris, just watched the post match interview and it’s clear to see he’s as disappointed as anyone but this is sport and Coaches only have a certain shelf life. No doubt it’s his toughest days as a coach and I wish he’d come through the other side and grind out some results. Do I expect more from the players, no doubt. I just can’t see it happening any time soon

| I know I always look for the positive which irritate some but I've watched Wakefield long enough to have seen bad times and seen good times follow as I'm sure they will now.
So I'll still be watching even if we lose every game for the rest of the season. Might not always enjoy it but I'll be supporting them hoping they turn it around.
In the mean time although the game was well gone today there were still good performances.
I though Lyne was better than he has been and BJB is finding his feet quickly.
Westerman was good. He is leading the way in the forwards.
Josh Wood's defense was tough as always.
Tanginoa did some big runs.
Thought Battye showed up well too.
Bailey looked like he has a really good player in him but was also well outplayed by Sezer who ran the show. We need to be brave and keep playing him without too much criticism so that he can develop.
Gigot was poor in defense in centre but had some good touches at half back. Not sure what I'd do with him.
I thought Kopy was pretty good too to be honest and unlucky not to score.
Which makes me ask if there was so much good, how come it was so bad.
Ultimately for me it is still game management at half back and Hooker. Giants dominated in that respect which meant they had fresh forwards whereas we were slogging out guts out for no real reward on the last tackle and getting more tired each set.
I still think our fitness isn't the issue but the amount of work we are putting on ourselves.
I'm not sure that is changeable with the current team but that's what I'd be working on this season. Both developing those players in those roles and/or recruitment for next year.
MJ, Hampshire, Gigot and Wood all have good skills but none of them is the complete player we need in their position.

So why sign Gigot and why sign Patton? Chester was raving about Gigot when he signed. Surely they're his choices

Gigot has a Lance Todd medal playing at fullback, he is a player with a great deal of talent and I think that is quite obvious, throw him in a team pulled together by Chester and all of a sudden he looks like an amateur than doesn't even understand the basics of RL.

I've seen him be brilliant for Catalan, but he signed Walker. Scattergun completely which we just can't afford to be

| It was a poor display all round including our leagues streaming we were going ok until battye was penalised for golding elbowing him in the face and rhen it was the sezer show just shows what a good no7 can do for a team and if we had had him today the scoreline would have been reversed

| To be fair, what is it like being a player, when all you have to play for is pride. With all due respect you guys are no longer in the challenge cup, and barring a miracle won't reach the SL play-offs.
Also, Covid-19 is exhuming all our lives, and all the procedures players have to go through every week just to be able to play. If I was a Trinity player, I would be thinking 'roll on next season' and hopefully we will all be in a better place, and we go again. (Leigh fan).

Trouble with that statement for me is ,how many fans are going to renew their season tickets on the hope that the players will suddenly turn into a team that’s looks like they want to play not only for the coach but most importantly the fans ,as without them the club as a whole is destined for failure .Its not the defeats that kill me it’s the manner of them ,when Chester openly says players dodged away from tackles, now that really saddens me .We Aren’t the biggest club and we certainly aren’t the best but we used to have Passion and pride playing for the club and that’s gone in my eyes ,for whatever reason .lots have people have wavered their right to a refund on their season tickets including me to keep this club going ,all I ask now is for the players and staff to show the same commitment on the field as the fans do off it

Nonsense, they are professional sportsmen.
The supporters are still supporting the club, season ticket holders, Trinity TV, Squad builder, Club 1873, leisure wear, sponsors and they all know the prize this year is to avoid bottom place despite no relegation. They should show some respect for all those that are helping keep the club afloat in difficult times
Ten other clubs have the same testing procedure and Covid 19 protocols so citing it as a factor in the lame performances doesn't really cut it in my view.

I'm not having that these players have thrown the towel in, they have everything to play for, they are in a dream job of a professional sportsman. They should have personal pride in their own fitness and performance, to dig e deep to not be bettered by their opponents. Also if any of them had any sense they would be trying their backsides off to get the hell out of there. Collectively it's a complete shambles
